Glad I Bought this Tool!
You don't even want to know how I used to remove watchband link pins before I bought this tool. I'm really lucky I didn't end up with puncture wounds in my fingers! Enough said on that topic. I recently bought a watch tool kit that contained a plastic pin remover. Piece of junk. I bought this tool to replace it. It's easy to use. I like the fact that it's height adjustable and that it comes with three extra pins. As others have said, the threads aren't the most precision machined, but if you're careful, as you should be with any watch, this tool works perfectly. Especially for such a reasonable price.UPDATE: Apply some light machine oil to the threads to smooth out the operation. Just a small drop and not too much. You don't want to get oil on the watch or band. I've had a chance to use the tool a few times and I'm pleased with my purchase.

Fantastic Tool!
I got this tool to adjust my Invicta watch that I just purchased. It took no time at all to remove 2 links from one side and one link from the other side. I found it best to follow the arrows on the links and I started the pin on the tool in the hole on the link first, then turned the thumb screw and let it push up against the far side of the tool. I showed my daughter my watch and she ask if I could adjust her watch. Her watch has been setting for three years plus because it was too big for her wrist and they wanted $30 to adjust it at the watch repair shop. I removed a total of three links on her watch just like my watch, two from one side and one from the other.

Works Perfectly! Just Take Your Time
Worked perfectly! Makes pushing the pins out very easy. Also has a height adjustment to make alignment extremely easy. I also put a piece of napkin under the watch as a precaution to prevent any scratches. I'm glad I didn't buy the kit with the hammer that essentially required smashing them out. I didn't want to risk bending and breaking anything. The pins in your watch are actually very easy to push out with this tool. However, it may require you to back off, realign, and continue working the pin out. Just take your time. If it feels like it's really hard to push the pin out, odds are it's not perfectly aligned and you risk bending and breaking the push pin. Encase that does happen, just use a pliers to bend it back straight again or use one of the 3 extra push pins this tool comes with. You can also use this tool to push the pins back in. As you push them back in, compare the depth to the other pins already in the watch to prevent pushing them back in too far. The nice thing is you know resizing your watch will get done right without some careless Kohl's worker scratching your new watch up, and you'll be able to resize any watch anytime in the comfort of your home, and it only cost $8! Buy this tool!!!

but i highly recommend the manufacturer add extra pins in
4 Stars due to the lack of how strong the actual pin is that you use to adjust the watch, mine only came with one and ended up bending on the second watch, but still an overall product for $9. Would buy again, but i highly recommend the manufacturer add extra pins in.

Papa smurf likes Seiko watches but they are always so big!
This is perfect for watches with a band less than an inch across, so if your a smurf or like really small watches then this is your huckleberry. But, if you have normal sized watches you're better off burning your $8.00 and praying to Odin for a looser or tighter fitting watch.
