Bayco NSP-1102 Night Stick Slim-Line Flashlight 4 LED, Black Soft Touch

Despite having 2 LEDs for the spotlight mode, this flashlight is only 4 lumens. Many keychain flashlights with just 1 LED of this size are twice as bright.The flood light on the side of the Bayco is cool, but 4 lumens unfocused is extremely dim. It is OK for a night light after your eyes are adjust to darkness.However, if you pay more for a Fenix E01, you get the same battery life (20 hours claimed for either) while putting out 10 lumens instead of 4. It doesn't have a flood light on the side, but you can stand the Fenix up on its tail and the light bouncing off of a ceiling will do the same job as the Bayco's direct flood light. The Fenix is also water resistant enough to drop in a puddle, while the Bayco has no water resistance at all (you can actually see through one of the gaps between the battery lid and the front end of the body).I wish Bayco had spring for more efficient LEDs and manufactured this more carefully. I like the oval shape, the concept of the flood light, and the clickie button. But the overall quality just isn't satisfying. I keep it in my desk as an emergency option, but I always carry something else such as the Fenix E01 or Streamlight Microstream.

Love this little light! I'd acquired one some time ago but after much use, it was time to replace. Good to find it on Amazon! I live with an early-go-to-bed person and I am a night owl so I oftentimes have to sneak into the bedroom and try to keep things dark. This little light provides just the amount of light I need to navigate that little maneuver. I also appreciate the flexibility of the two lights, one on the downside, to keep light from disturbing. Heartily recommend.

I only bought this because I needed an item to make the free shipping limit. Can always use another little flashlight. This one is really neat, small/compact, fits in purse, has light in front and reading light on bottom and is bright enough. Time will tell if it holds up, but so far I really like it.

I bought the last three of these flashlights in a local store immediately following the tornadoes that swept through Alabama in April. While we didn't have any damage, we were without power for four days. This flashlight is small, but don't let the size fool you. It was great for navigating from room to room and the side light made a nice "nitelight" and was still going strong the next morning. I gave two of them to my elderly parents and the "nitelight" feature helped them tremendously during the power outage. It was a very stressful time for everyone and with much loss, statewide. It definitely has shown me the benefits of being better prepared for emergency situations. I am ordering more of these lights today and gifting some of them to family members.
