Why feel the pressure from the floor into your yoga mat when you can have cushion for those areas that will feel it the most? Some yoga poses that will forward the opportunity to achieve the results you are looking for without feeling the pressure from the yoga mat in your wrists, knees, hands and elbows are: - - - Side Plank: Side plank beginner? The benefits of a two-pack will likely increase your success in terms of stability and comfortability during all poses. A side plank pose with the two-pack of Alaman yoga knee pads can help with each knee and each hand, achieving and alleviating the pressure from your body into the cushion of the pad. - - - Camel: - - - When practice yoga, in the camel position, your knees will be receiving a lot of pressure. If your yoga mat does not have the correct amount of cushion, and with most yoga studios using hard floors, this position may cause unwanted pain to your knees. By applying the yoga pads under your knees, the cushion can help retract that pressure by soaking your knees into the pad.

After spending years using blankets or blocks under my knees as padding for yoga poses with limited success I was on the look out for something to provide better support. I had spotted a couple of people in classes with knee pads so decided to purchase one myself to test out their effectiveness. I have used the knee pads in a few classes and they have made a big difference, my knee feels supported and comfortable when doing poses which require a lot of pressure on the knee. Far superior to a blanket or rolled up mat. I would highly recommend this product

Yoga Knee Pad
If you're looking for mat to protect and support your knees at yoga classes, this may be something for you. It is definitely more supportive than a regular mat. The problem is trying to use it for low lunges (as illustrated). It is very small and has to be positioned precisely so that your knee makes contact with the central circle in the mat. Try doing that in the middle of your sun salutations - not easy! It will almost certainly disrupt your flow! And of course you need two unless you are going to shuffle it from one to side of the yoga mat to the other. Maybe it would work if you were holding a position for a while, but most yoga classes aren't like that. So it's good idea that doesn't quite work for me. Also not sure about the colours: pink or sky blue, but that's just my taste...

nice mat
Nice mat!Just received my blue yoga knee mat and its Works great for me.It is perfect for kneeling at the gym and I use it for my weight training classes.Love this little mat! It's a good quality foam, and easy to transport.Helps my knees a lot. Not too big, not too small, a very nice thickness.Highly recommended!Only suggestion I might have is to include a strap to carry it or small carry bag.

There is only one
This might sound silly but I mistakenly thought there was two included and now see that two cost £17.99. It is very large in size but its better for quickly putting under my knee than the current one I use in class. Smaller ones are fiddly and you lose the flow of the movement. Hopefully this will be better.

Great for long periods in low lunge or other knee-crushing poses such as working towards king pigeon. Does need to be positioned for use, but a minor issue compared to the pain without. Centre of pad is soft enough for knee cap to sink in slightly to ease pressure pain, but with no instability. Very much recommend!

Great for tired knees
I bought these pads because at the age of 71 and a long time with bad knees. I was advised that they may well help, and if I need to kneel for a long time they ease the aches and pains!
