Easy to fit & impressed with how much flush noise is reduced.

Good quality product, easy to fit, durable and hinge mechanism ensures it doesn't move. Soft-close works and, once closed, flush noise is probably reduced by 75% as they say. However, Croydex says it fits most toilets. Mine is a modern push button cistern/basin fitted only four years ago and problem is that when seat and lid are lifted, the seat won't stay up - you have to hold it. Hinges have been adjusted as much as possible to give a better angle but, not only does seat not stay up, but the safeflush no longer fits the basin so negating purpose of seat. If this was not a problem, would have given 5 star rating but, because of issues, cannot recommend. Ensure seat fits properly before disposing of packaging otherwise it could be a costly mistake like mine. Did contact Croydex for assistance and, although they did investigate, there is no solution. I am updating this review in January 2016. Having used the seat for three months, the soft-close no longer works and I have had to adjust the hinges three times as the seat moves. Despite my earlier comments, I am very disappointed with this product and would not recommend it.

Brilliant concept, with a soft close operation, which functions well.An added bonus is way that it significantly reduces the water noise when flushing the toilet !Easy to fit, and to maintain.

This Slow Close Hinged toilet seat inhibits the spread of germs and bacteria by sealing them into the toilet bowl as well as (noisy sound)!!! fantastic product so far...

L'amortissement de l'abattant du couvercle s'est arrêté de fonctionner presque de suite (il a fonctionné deux fois avant d'être complètement inefficace). L'amortissement de la lunette lui est tellement dur qu'elle ne se ferme pas seule. L'abattant une fois fermé, on n'entend presque plus le bruit de chasse d'eau. En revanche les joints rendent très hermétique le WC et parfois les matières sont projetées sur le dessous de l'abattant.Conclusion: Vu le prix, orientez-vous plutôt sur un autre produit.
