A great alternative to ABS filament
Item came vacuum sealed with dessicant, PRIME 1 day shipping. Initial impression was that spool was very neatly wound and upon opening, filament didn't spring out like PETG typically does. Hopefully, that should lead to less issues getting spool tangled if like me, you routinely swap out filaments depending on the project rather than completing using a spool before replacing. I first printed a single wall temperature calibration cube using temps from 250 down to 223. Every temp printed fine but I decided to stick with my standard 230 for PETG. I printed the Benchy on a modified Da Vinci 1.0 on a 80 degree glass bed with hairspray. Adhesion was great and part came off fairly easily once temp cooled to around 35. The print came out with nice details, excellent layer adhesion on only very light stringing. Hopefully you can tell from the photos. Overall, this is some of the best PETG filament I've used. It is a fairly glossy black, similar to ABS that is acetone vapor treated. Nice not having to worry about warping and shrinkage.

Prints great at lower temps than usual for PETG, and the glow looks great!
My typical PETG translucent filament from Polymaker is great, and it requires me to bump the hot end temperature up to 245C with a 0.8 mm nozzle. Totally expected, about 10-15 C above the temps for a 0.4 mm nozzle. I went to try printing this filament at the same temp and it began bubbling like crazy on the bed! First thought is always moisture with PETG, thinking that it shipped wet for some reason, which happens. Drying didn't fix the problem, still printed like foam. What it ended up being was that this filament from SainSmart prints at a way lower temperature than I'm used to, all the way down to 225C. And it prints flawlessly with a 0.8 mm nozzle at this temp! 220C was a little too cold, the filament started squeaking. 225C was just right. I will be trying out the non-glow version of this filament in the future for sure.Oh yeah, and the glow for the glow in the dark looks awesome! It gets really bright under sunlight or with a UV light, should work great for my product.Hope this helps.

One of the few Brown color PETG filaments
I settled on SainSmart Pro-3 PETG because I needed PETG in brown. and PETG for props that are durable, watertight, and can take a beating. And Brown as the base color was a requirement. ( It's more difficult to find earthy colors in PETG)Printing SainSmart Pro-3 PETG on the Ender 3Pro is easy but slow. With the Creality K1Max - after updating the K1 to the latest updated extruder, hot end, dialing in the filament settings using Ocraslicer tests, and using a gluestick on the stock smooth metal plate for better adhesion. I could print twice as fast and with better quality than on the Ender 3 Pro. This PETG filament is smooth printing and less trouble than many of the cheap brands out there. Again for you beginners, if you didn't catch that, it's important to dial in each brand of PETG filament to keep stringing and other artifact extrusion issues at bay. PETG can be tricky on adhesion, on a textured PEI steel plate I usually settle on 60C and it goes well but on a smooth plate it can still slip off so I use Gluesticks and that works well. ( just wash off and clean the plate for each new print) It's still important to watch the first layers and make sure it stays put, but in general, this filament sticks so well that I cannot pull it off the plate easily at least until cooling it and bending the plate.

Very strong, easy printing, a little flex.
Black PETG 1KG roll.Used the entire roll, tested on Prusa i3 MK3S.No tape or glue. Used flexible PEI bed at 85cTo be perfectly clear you will get some spider webbing, but it's harmless. If you're using the Slic3r PE profile for PET with 20% infill, and a very clean bed (PEI preferred) you will have very few issues getting good bed adhesion. No raft, no brim, no supports.Layer height: 0.2mmFirst layer height: 0.2mmFill density 20%Fill pattern: GyroidTop/bottom fill pattern: RectilinearFill angle: 45Speed___Perimeters: 45mm/sSmall perimeters: 25 mm/sExternal perimters: 25 mm/sInfill: 80mm/sBridges: 30mm/sTravel speed 180mm/sIf your slicer can set the temp for the bottom shell(s) you can prevent some of the oozing issues you'll get in the first few layers. Otherwise check on it every, say, 20 minutes for the first few layers. Have flush cutters handy. After the first few layers, it's flawless.

Good product
Smaller rolls, but a good value and color options.

Cardboard spool
I bought this to use in my Bambu AMS. Specifically bought this one because of the plastic spool. Open it up and it’s a cardboard spool which doesn’t vibe with the ams. Not impressed that I have to respool after I specially bought this one due to the plastic spool advertised.Seller reached out and made it right. I have changed my review from 1 star to 3 because of that. Still can’t recommend due to the cardboard spool when they advertise a plastic spool but I am happy they rectified the situation.

White-ish, glows briefly blue-ish
Temper your exciting glowing expectations. It prints well, but is a short low glow, ... ok for kids taking a home printed toy to the dark bathroom for a few mins, glowing is fair.

Fantastic glow, but incredibly wet. Beware!
Still testing it, but so far it has an amazing glow, like sainsmart's green glow in the dark TPU, which glows more than any other filament. However, this is the second time I get sainsmart's glow in the dark PETG (the first time was a free sample before they even started selling it officially over a year ago, in exchange for a review that I never got to write, sorry sainsmart!), and both times it's incredibly wet. I've never seen PETG this wet from any manufacturer. My first print without drying was a real dense spider web, even though it was mainly a straight long thin object. I dried the filament for 20 hours at 65C, so way more than any recommendation, and the next print is way better, but still a bit stringy, not fully smooth, and I still kept hearing bubbles bursting. It still needs more drying.Testing rigidity or flexibility is pointless at this point until it's fully dry. But the green glow.. Awesome! It's better in my opinion than my AMZ PLA green glow in the dark, and that one is supposed to be the strongest glows of all brands. This one glows way more in my opinion! sainsmart's green glow in TPU or PETG is beyond comparison (the green glow at least, as well as the pink TPU, which glows actually closer to orange).Their blue glow in the dark PETG (or TPU) isn't worth it. That's the petg sample I got, then I purchased a spool of both PETG and TPU anyways. It barely glows, for only a minute or so. Unless if you plan to keep it next to a UV light, don't bother. I wish they went for turquoise glow instead of blue since it should glow better than blue.Back to this filament I'm buying this one again right now, before they stop selling it in Canada like they did with their green glow TPU.Make sure you have a dehydrator! and of course a hard nozzle! I personally use a 0.6mm TC nozzle from 3D spool, going strong for over 2 years!

The most accurate printing results ever!
This filament gives by far better printing results than PLA of other manufacturers. Its a bit more expensive but well worth every penny. There was no stringing whatsoever. This clear type PETG is indeed optically transparent unlike most clear PLA's. The manufacture of this product is just outstanding. The windings on the spool are amazingly even. It arrived vacuum packed with a supposedly really high vacuum compared to other filaments, judging by the loud hissing when opening. I really recommend this manufacturer/seller which also has a variety of other well engineered and build.

Buen Material

Not so Tangle free
I bought this product to try as it claimed to be Tangle free and Non clogging, well guess what, i was printing a part and i left the room for about half an hour, when i came back my nozzle was above the part and printing into thin air. Yep the filament was tangled up on the spool. This does seem to be a nice Petg filament and i am happy with the way it prints, however i did have problems with it staying stuck to the bed and had to use the custom Supports in Cura which did help a lot. Overall very good but dropped a star for the tangle free claim.
