Sturdy and great design.
I had been searching for a colander that had feet, like my mom's old colander. This Torva colander really does the job. It has enough holes to drain water from food quickly. And the holes are small so I can even rinse small things like lentils. It's sturdy and wipes clean easily.

Worth every penny and is handcrafted. Very sturdy, plus it looks nice in the kitchen with all my other stainless steel cookware.

Very good to use
Love this strainer, the holes are small enough, so rice or pasta can be drained with no loss, so numerous the water drains quickly. This is the best strainer I’ve ever used drains, better than anything before, I've never used anything that works better than this colander. Worth every penny, and it’s solid, in design and construction, easy to handle also dishwasher is safe. Great tool for everyday in the kitchen.

Actually DRAINS water unlike normal colander
Washing vegetables, making bean salad(green, red, yellow beans), making pasta- drains quick - prevents overcooking - basically everything we used to use a strainer or colander for- and it does it better and is sturdier.

Works perfectly!
The Torva colander is wonderful. Drains fast and the items you’re draining don’t fall through the holes. It is perfect for all your draining and rinsing needs. Haven’t had any issues!

Well structured
Sturdy, doesn't tip when straining large pots. Easy to clean

Seems sturdy
I have only used it for a few weeks, and haven't tried rinsing rice, but it seems sturdy and drains well with pasta and fruit. The handles seem attached rather than screwed in, so I guess I would not be able to reattach myself if needed. It is almost as wide as one side of my small double sink, but has enough room to maneuver a little.

Good drainage. No standing water in the bottom of the colander.
