Overall, worth the money and good to have as a secondary call.Pros: Super easy to use, my 3 year old can make some very realistic purrs and clucks with it. The full yelp is very, very raspy (sexy for Mr. Tom). The volume control is a great feature and you can change the pitch as well. I have used it in light rain with no problems at all. The clucker button is convenient and sounds pretty good.Cons: The design has changed slightly over the years and the main plunger is not as comfortable/ergonomic to use for hours, a little sanding to round off the edges is nice. Biggest complaint is that you can hear the spring pretty loudly if you're not extremely gentle on release. You can work around it but it takes some practice and I don't see myself using this too much in very close contact with turkeys. Each has a slightly different tone, not consistent but that can be a good thing.If you are going to buy just one call and are strapped, this is worth picking up. Has some features that knock the socks off of other push-button calls.

This is good for people that haven’t mastered a mouth call yet. Great for beginners like me for making sounds you can’t make with a box.Easy to use.

i did call birds with this but its very very basic and not going to bring in smart birds you may have some jakes come wondering in not know ing any better but id pay a few more extra bucks and buy a nice call

It’s okay. Kind of sounds like a turkey. Sometimes it doesn’t sound like a turkey. Have to be careful with how you adjust the tension in the spring and how you press the wooden dowel

I bought this for my son for christmas. He lives in the hills of oakland and is calling the turkeys that live around the neighborhood. works great

Design change has affected quality of the call. They replaced the plastic push pin dowel with a wood birch dowel. (Must reduce manufacturing cost.) This changed the tone of the call. The new calls don’t sound good at all. I’m searching for a different brand.

Better than expected. Volume not quite as loud as I expected, but it sounds just like a turkey. Easy to put in pocket. Easy to operate.
