I wish these worked out!
I really wanted to like these, like really really really. We love our smencils, as they make homework that much more fun. I purchased these for my son as incentive for writing. When our first package came, 2 of the 5 pens wrote. The remainder did not write at all. One didn't even push down all the way (yellow pen). None of them smelled as powerful as the pencils and some didn't smell at all. I thought perhaps I got a bad batch and ordered a replacement, however the replacement pens had the exact problem--right down to the yellow pen not fully clicking down.I'm sad that these didn't work because the two that DID write were pretty awesome.

Disappointed in Quality of the Pens working
I've held onto these for a while and didn't write a review till now much later. I kept trying to get these pens to work and I didn't have any success with any consistency. The scents of the pens is great but all they were great for is that. These didn't function as pens for me. Seems like i'm not the only one. Bummed.

Not All of Them Work
Only two of these pens work well, two work marginally, and one doesn't work at all. I received one as a Christmas gift and it worked great, but I'm disappointed with this set and won't buy again.

Ordered and paid for a 5-pack glitter gel smens but received a 4 pack one which was missing the yellow color.

Pink & yellow didn't write, other colors are great
Disappointed that two of the pens do not write but happy with the other three pens. Too bad I can't pick which colors I'd prefer.

All that glitters is NOT gold .....
A smelly glitter pen... REALLY!!!! Smencils Smiggle and Tinc ... having spent a fortune do not like any of it as I still have to buy Staedtler. However, I wish I had thought of it!!!

I bought the glitter pens thinking they would be great and then we got them and most of them didn't work. Also the glitter pen were really hard to push down.
