Really good wave-maker, used in 180L aqaurium
Bought this to replace Fluval Sea CP3 2800lph. Product being used in a heavily planted 180L tropical tank.Being a big fan of Fluval brand, I initially bought the CP3 but noted that it was noisy. Then I ordered the Hydor 3200 to replace it and was able to compare the both. After comparing them, I decided to return the CP3. As always, absolutely hassle free return and refund from Amazon. Seller aquacadabra were also great.****Fluval Sea CP3***ADVANTAGES-smaller/shorter than Hydor 3200-lower priceDISADVANTAGES-more noisy, cable rattles when touching aquarium edge-design less versatile-no swivel head meaning more difficult to direct the flow-less power than Hydor 3200**Hydor 3200**ADVANTAGES-brilliant magnetic "shock-absorbing" design-absolutely quiet-easy to move/detach or re-direct flow-powerful-possibility of pairing with the Hydor remote controllerDISADVANTAGES-slightly larger than CP3 (although it is more powerful of course)-more expensiveOverall, I was very impressed with Hydor Koralia 3200 and would recommend it to anyone looking to improve the flow in their aquarium. For an aquarium of 180l, it will provide more than enough flow (without being too much though).

Whisper Quiet and powerful
I have a 180l Tropical Freshwater aquarium with a variety of fish including tetras, gouramis and even shrimp. The tank however is a corner tank so it isn't rectangular like most tanks but is wedge shaped. My Fluval 306 works perfectly with a good flow but there were some dead spots in the tank at both front corners so I bought this to increase flow.If anything, it's a bit too powerful (fixed by angling it up to create a ripple rather than pointing it directly in the centre of the tank) but it creates a lovely current all the same resulting in no dead spots. You can see this yourself by feeding with it turned off - the flakes float for a bit, then gently sink and roughly stay in the centre of the tank (sparing those dead spots). The next day have it switched on and feed and the flakes will swirl around everywhere, with no areas spared, showing that it's working very well to create flow everywhere..The fish are fine with it on as it simulates a natural stream current very well.On top of that it is very very quiet so perfect if you have your tank in the living room and don't want to hear a racket ;)One minor negative as mentioned is that it is a tiny bit too powerful so if Hydor made a lower spec 2500 one, for instance, that would have been good (they don't, this is the lowest power one they do). Another minor negative is that this item is BIG - OK for me as I happen to have it placed in the back corner furthest away, but worth baring in mind (it's nearly twice as large as the Aquael 2500 they have for sale in my LFS).

Don't waste your money!
AVOID!Previously we have used cheaper "wave makers" to eliminate dead spots in our 260L tank. A year ago we thought we would treat our fish to this item, at £40 is was more expensive, but we hoped it would last long enough to prove worth the money. After less than a year it become very noisy, it is cleaned and inspected as part of our regular maintenance (100L water change and alternate cleaning of 2 external filters) there was nothing obviously wrong. After fiddling around for a long time I eventually got it to operate quietly for a few hours or a few days but the problem just keeps coming back. Now we are just not using it, what a waste of money and Amazons return policy is just a MONTH!

Great!
This is a really good Wave maker. I have a 190l corner tank and put this half way down to add some movement, I need a second one for the back. The product is very powerful in the water but is super silent.I painted the sides of my tank to hide the wires and this has caused some issues with the magnet not holding the wave maker in place. It is fine on the front but on the back it rejects it.Would recommend

UK Hydor Equipment At Last..
Have bought a few of t hydor's equipment and they are really good a bit pricey but everything is well made. also i have returned a few from sellers on amazon who have sent me hydor equipment with a none uk plug. pleased to say that's not the case when you buy from amazon themselves 100% a uk item with a full uk plug. One thing i would like to say is why don't amazon put up the size of hydor equipment it sells. bit lazy you get the boxed size but not the item dimensions last thing i want to do is go google the hydor item amazon is selling then come back to amazon to buy it lazy really!!..

Great product 100% recommend
Very very small amount of noise. There is a very slight vibration on the wall of the tank it’s stuck on. Not noticeable at all. Suction is also great good quality strong magnetFish guard works well and no chance of anything going into the spindleWorks fine on a timer no issues. Flow is really good too. I use this in a 190l 4 foot tank and it’s perfect.

Silent and powerful.
Great quality as always from Hydor. Powerful magnet suction for holding to the glass and powerful flow from the power head. Was a bit buzzy for the first 24 hours but settled out (I think there was an air bubble stuck somewhere). Now silent and not audible (fish tank is in the lounge so needs to be silent!).

Nice and quiet
I've placed this in my 4ft Cichlid tank and it's great as it provides good surface agitation without causing too much of a current. Its and also very quiet
