Perhaps my dog is a genius (possibly) however the 'secure' lid to keep your dog from getting at all the portions was very easy for her to realize she can pull it off with her teeth unless we put a strap around it and then tied it to something. So if you have an intelligent dog that loves food and has been known to hulk smash things to get at food then either look for another product ,or do as we have and secure the feeder. It works great otherwise and is easy to program, clean and fill.

The feeder works great, but our cat didn't like eating out of it, I think because the feeding area is pretty deep and he had to stick his whole head in there to get to the food at the bottom. We only feed about 1/8 cup at a time. This feeder would be perfect for a small dog or a bigger cat that's less particular about his bowl.

This feeder works great. It is particularly helpful when we travel. I schedule it for my cat, who is happy to get his canned food daily in our absence.

Works great I can give 4 different things throughout the day and uses 3 d batteries will last a while. Dog loves it especially since I made a recording saying foods ready.

My Dog Loves this! I’ve had it about aWeek and the voice prompt doesn’t work yet for her but when she’s hungry she goes looking.EDIT: I’ve had this for a few more weeks now and NOW my dog recognizes the recording I made as a call for food! This is amazing!!!

We have had this for a few months now. It was our first automatic feeder and will be our last. Our dog is diabetic and needs to eat on a schedule. This feeder is always on time, easy to clean, and the perfect portion for small to medium dogs. Highly recommended.

I felt this devise was difficult to program. The buttons to push down didnt work very well and it took me several attempts to program it. It did open correctly at the right time.

Received the feeder January 4th and the batteries are already dying. The last two weeks the feeder wasn’t going off because the timer kept resetting due to low battery. Product claims to have 7 month life span. This didn’t even last 2. My cats were also able to pry the top off. They only did it once but still possible
