I installed this and it seemed to work great until the second day when the motor just died. I pulled the cart home and went to find out what was wrong. I pull off the fuel line to see if the fuel pump was pumping fuel. I found that the nib where the line attached was broken off. I should have used a new fuel line and in fact I had one but BE CAREFUL the nib is not strong. So I cannot know if the pump would have worked or not and hesitate to buy a 3-rd one (it is supposedly the same and my other one which worked well for 3 or 4 years).

Carb leaked fuel from the time I put it on, had to tear it apart, float level was set too high had to remove it twice to get it right. That was why I bought a new one to avoid the extra work. All is well now, but just take it in to consideration that you might have to do some adjustments before it works properly. The old carb did not have the overflow tube coming out of the top, and when this overflows it will run all over your motor. The choke also was not in the proper position, so I could not hook it up without, putting on a new cable. I installed this on a 1985 ez go golf cart.

For the price it is great. Fit perfectly and runs great. Only problem it has is the throat is a little smaller than the one I removed from the 83 EZ Go I bought used years ago. It starts and runs great, but lost a little performance, as if this matters on a golf cart.

This is one of those you get what you pay for stories.. This carb is a waste of money, straight out of the box the needle valve sticks so the carb floods and drips gas all over when it’s parked. The fuel float in the bowl had a hole in it where the pin hinges hold it in place. So the float just fills up with fuel and flooded the carb. I ended up using some parts from this carb on the original carb and got the cart running but I ended up ordering a more expensive $50 replacement carb from a golf cart supplier that works as it should. Moral of the story don’t be cheap especially on mechanical components.

It worked great for a few minutes, but some kind of plug blew out and now it's garbage. I gave it two stars for the couple of minutes it did work, because the motor ran great while the carburetor was complete.I will proceed to make one good carburetor out of 2 now.

The part came with all needed installation parts and fit right on. The complete carburetor cost less than a rebuild kit for the original and it's working great!

I purchased this carburetor for my golf cart recently.after I installed it,the cart fired right up and is running perfectly! I'm sure glad I did this and WOULD recommend it!

It is identical to the original carburetor and for the price excellent quality, which I wasn't expecting. No adjustments were needed and the engine started right up and ran perfectly! Could not be happier.
