A Good Bag with some caveats
Note: I had the older EX version of this bag for a short period before realizing it was too small. This bag is a pretty solid addition to my suite - the other panniers I have are the Arkel Grocery Bag and the Ortlieb Commuter QL 3.1.I use this bag when I know I don't have to take my computer to or from work on a particular day.Pros:Good size. Fits a change of clothes for work, a large lunch, a small notepad, bike tools, and phone/keys/wallet in a small space.Side pockets actually hold things on this model compared with the EX version's tiny mesh siding.Mounting seems secure.Reflective strips are very bright.Cons:Mesh on top not exceedingly useful.Water bottle holder doesn't hold smooth bottles well even when adjusted; I've lost a kleen kanteen. This model's addition of a water bottle holder removes the strap that makes it easy to take off the bike. It's now a bit more awkward to slide off the rack if the rack isn't perfectly straight (my super tourist DX rack came with a bit of a bump in the middle). If you have a Topeak Explorer rack or any rack without a lowered side rail, this thing will be too wide for you to use this and another traditional-mount pannier at the same time. Ortlieb QL racks will be fine, however.Neutral:Zippers don't inspire confidence based on other reviews and looking at it, but I haven't had any problems yet.Overall: Worth it for its convenience. I can feel how light my bike is when I use this rather than my full side panniers, which is nice.Great for day trips or day rides where you want to bring lunch. Some small issues depending on what types of hardware/water bottles you already own.

A great pack for most day rides
I've been using this bag for over a month now, and have become a fan of it and the Topeak rack system. I have the Topeak MTX Rear Bicycle Basket for shopping trips, but this bag serves well on most daily rides. With the expandable capability, it holds a surprising amount of stuff, though probably not enough if you're commuting and need a change of clothes, laptop, etc. Still, the main compartment will hold a U-lock, cable, a well-packed lunch, and more. The side pockets will hold things for which you need quick access and the outer wall is rigid so whatever you have in there will be reasonably protected. I've only used the water bottle holder a few times and haven't had any problems, though if your water bottle is too large for the cords to securely wrap around the top of the bottle, I'm not sure if I'd trust it over a bumpy road. The locking mechanism that secures the bag to the rack has yet to fail me, but I still use a small bungee cord to secure the bag to my seat post as insurance. The loop on the back securely holds my Cygolite tail light, even on the bumpier rides. Overall, I love the ease and speed of removing this from the rack when I leave my bike locked up and the handle makes it easy to carry the bag. A great product!

These Are Great Bags for Our Biking Style
These are the 2nd pair of these trunk bags we have purchased. We are still using the originals pair we purchased but we needed 2 more to take overseas for our bikes there. This style bag works so well for us. I also have the cargo net from Topeak in case we need to hold something on the top of the bag. We have no issues with any of the Topeak products we have purchased. We have the smaller trunk bags as well and they work well, but these have allowed us to carry more like shoe covers, full finger gloves, helmet covers, snacks, just all sorts of things.

Great product!
I love pretty much everything about the trunk bag. It’ll probably seem a bit small to you when you first see it in person but it can hold more than you think. My biggest load so far was 1.5 liter bottle of Maker’s Mark ;) a U lock and cable, and gym clothes. It attaches and detaches quickly (once you get the hang of lining it up with the track). The side compartments are useful. The ability to expand is great. And it’s a nice size to carry around. The divider in it is useless IMHO, but it comes out.

Works for my daily commute
I wanted to get my backpack off my back. After 5 years of using a backpack I’m finally done with back sweat. I was worried about my 10.5” ipad fitting in the bag. It does fit at an angle but I’m okay with it. The side pockets are big enough for spare tubes and co2’s. Overall I’m very satisfied with the bag. I cut off the carrying straps off of the top. I don’t plan on carrying the bag around. I’ll update if something goes wrong.

Flexibility and space
So, I bought this for a trip on my Trek DS3, but I wanted the flexibility to use this for small day-trips, and for runs to the gym. I have the Topeak MTX Beam Rack (V type) that has a quick-connect that I stick on my road bike for times when I want to use it, and so now I can get some extra storage when I feel like riding the roadie to a store or gym. I did not get the version with the side panniers as I have Ortliebs, and this has an expandable top in case I need more room. The MTX system is so convenient to add it quickly and securely to whichever bike (vs straps that will always have some level of 'play' in them. I just slide my tail-light into the strap and it is ready to go. It does have an adjustable divider in case you have something heavier that may shift during the ride.

I Love It
I rode for years with a backpack. It is so much more pleasurable to have the back free. I keep all of my repair gear like tubes, CO2 crackers, CO2 canisters, multi hex key, patches, etc, in one side compartment. I keep my phone, wallet, external phone battery, phone charger chord and keys in another side compartment. In the center compartment, I keep sunglasses, headlamp, bike lock, spear water bottles and sometimes a beer or 2. I can keep all of those items and not even have to extend the height of the center compartment. The trunk clips on very well. I have put on over 500 miles since installing it in May and it still looks good and does what I need it to do. Hold stuff. It does not lock on. You can take it with you as it has shoulder straps.

Nice piece of
Took 8 day's after order date before it arrived, but it was worth the wait in the end. Does what it says on the tin and looks neat on my MTX bar rack. Most importantly it takes the weight out of my back pack and off my back. Nice piece of kit

Arrived as advertised. Easy to mount on the rack (Topeak system) and seems to work well (but it is summer - ask me in the rainy season) so far. Okay value for money.

Five Stars
Fabulous trunk bag that holds a surprisingly large amount, yet does not interfere with the aerodynamics of the ride
