Mine arrived in a battered box, but all of the parts seemed to be present. The blade was not attached to the body of the device, so I read the instructions. They are very brief and full of typos / odd translations, but the instruction about clipping the blade back on after installation just says it should 'click' back on. I fought with the tightly coiled spring for ages and could not make it clip together at any angle. It never 'clicks' and simply won't connect. It looks as though it was taken apart for oiling and it was not designed to be clipped back together by human hands - either that or it's broken somehow. Very disappointed as my hair is getting long due to the lockdown and I waited over a week for these to arrive. So surprised to read so many positive reviews, but I can only assume others received units with the blade attached.

Good set especially for the amateur. Came ready charged and gives you scissors and cape so it feels complete. I had a query on the charging of the clippers. Just to help others they do charge but no light comes on during charging. Give it half an hour and the green light will come on when you switch on. I have never cut hair but started off with the bigger guard and worked down to the desired length. I am no barber but it looked ok and husband pleased. Easy to get in touch with customer service via Amazon so they do get back with follow up questions.

Arrived faster than predicted but it's not worth buying as it doesn't cut hair properly, seems like it's not sharp or something as cuts hair badly and unevenly, was better off with my beard clippers

This haircutting set is awesome, have used it to keep the family haircuts looking neat and tidy, your not going to become a professional barber overnight but this kit contains all the essentials you need to get a pretty decent haircut. One thing to consider is that the kit doesn't come with a spray bottle, but wetting hair in a sink/shower before cutting does the trick!Scissors and clippers both came with relatively sharp blades. Mine even came with a cool banana bag to keep the kit in! At the price of just over 2 normal (mens) haircuts this kit very quickly pays for itself and is a must for anyone looking to get into cutting hair.

Bought these as the barbers were closed during Covid-19. Wish I hadn’t bothered. I cut my 2yo sons hair first and struggled to cut as it was just snagging and pulling his hair. Had mine cut by my wife straight after. Again the shears just snagged on my hair and struggled to cut through it. The ‘ceramic blade’ looks and feels a lot like plastic. The scissors(standard and thinning) are poor and the blades just flex away from each other when you try to cut. On a positive note, they arrived about 8 days after ordering, instead of the 2 months quoted. I gave 2 stars because with a lot of perseverance and pain, it does eventually cut hair. I would have given it 5 stars, if it was advertised as a torture device.
