TribestShine Kitchen Co. Autopour SCH-150 Automatic Pour Over Coffee Machine

I've had this a long while, I use it everyday and I have no complaints. It is the perfect coffee maker for me.

Only the carafe is glass. All the other parts that the hot water touches is plastic. No indication what type of plastic or if it is BPA free.

The Shine is simply perfect for my needs. Easy to use. Makes great coffee and is a great time savor. My only issue is with my carafe. There is an air bubble on the bottom of the carafe that unfortunately looks like it could pop at any moment either on its own or with the slightest bump. My fear is that one day I'm going to make coffee and end up cleaning up a mess. I'd buy again but would want to be assured I'd have a safe carafe.

I kinda feel like I’ve been had, just by how cheap it feels and how little it’s actually doing. Really, all that this is doing is rotating a basket of water with three small holes in it for 5 minutes then turns off. The rest is up to the user. The coffee container (that the coffee dumps into) holds the plastic filter container in it’s neck area, and will only hold 1 ½ cups of water (~350ml) when filled right to the filter baskets bottom. (Right about the rubber neck protector bottom edge). The coffee container has 1 and 2 cup markings on it below that, however the 2 cup marking I measured and is 1 cup in a measuring cup. The top water basket has a “steam” marking (for blooming of coffee), 1 and 2 cup markings as well above it, with 3 small holes in the bottom that drip/fine drain water out as the rim around the basket rotates.It’s not worth the price, seriously. It’s pretty, but the only thing not plastic is the coffee container and the only thing the batteries are doing is rotating a rim at the top slowly for 5 mins or until you press the power button. (Which glows blue by battery as well)Oh well, this happens....

It is a good poor over item. The carafe broke when I picked it up while taking it out of the dishwasher. So note it is delicate. Again it makes a good pour over coffee.

Works well and easy. It would be nice if it could support at least 20oz at a time.

I love this coffee maker but I have to have two mugs of coffee in the AM. I can give it an excellent review because it addresses the problem with most pour-over coffee makers- the water not saturating the grounds evenly. This machine has an electric rotating water dispersal system that solves that problem and it does it superbly. I still use it when I do not have to leave a mug full for my sister-in-law. If you want a perfect large mug of coffee for yourself, this is the perfect coffee maker. I do not like paper filters so I bought a flexible stainless steel filter and cut it down to size. Dunkin Donut dark roast goes perfectly with it. I wish they would make a larger machine.

Ok, let’s be clear. I am lazy. Yes, too lazy to do the pour over myself. This machine does exactly that. Does the pouring over for me. I love it! Great cup of coffee!
