Where has this been in my life?? We have a brita filter for the fridge, the large size. Sure, the filter lasts 6 months or so (not really with our usage) but we are filling the thing on a constant basis and it fills SLOWLY. The only advantage of that thing is that the water is cold. But it takes up a lot of room and is frankly, a pain in the behind. Then I see this pump. Under 10 bucks?? What's the catch? Well its under 10 bucks so I'll take 10 out of my 600 gov't money and gamble on this. What a win!!! Easy as hell to install. Bought the large 5 gallon bottle at Wal Mart. So cheap to re-fill. Put this pump on and voila! Filtered water. It has a little light on the top, you just press a button, the water fills up quickly. I use it especially for cooking now, which I didn't do before because like stated, didn't want to have to refill the Brita on an hourly basis lol.Drawbacks? Its a little noisy. So if you are getting some water in the middle of night, it might be disturbing but its not horrible. So far we are almost done with a 5 gallon and we have yet to re-charge the pump. Did I mention you re-charge it? How awesome is that, no need for batteries or using electricity. So if you need water for camping or keeping outside in the yard for the kids to grab when they are playing-no problem.While it is served room temp-well hopefully you have some ice handy if you want your water super cold. Otherwise its well worth the money. I don't like buying a ton of water bottles -especially all that plastic-hence buying the Brita but this is really so great for saving money and not investing in an actual dispenser which takes up even MORE room and is pricey-not to mention requires maintenance.

It is important to use the snap on cap (I got mine via the WINBOB store with Amazon). At least it was for me. Although my bottles as provided by my water company has a cap and a punch out hole to insert the water tube, the width of the cap made it impossible to steady the pump. So I ordered the caps they have a smaller outside diameter and it fits well.One improvment for this pump could be to have an adjustable connection to account for the wider diameters that are used by some water comapnies.The charge does last a long time. I am now on my third 3 gallon tank and have not had to recharge the pump via the USB connection.This pump is much better than the older hand pump we had as we can now fill a small cup of water whicl was nearly impossible with the hand pump.I have a Keurig(tm) coffee maker and notice that it takes a few seconds more to fill the tank. Often the pump will stop before the coffe maker's water storage tank if full. However the second press of the button helps better with filling the tank to the water level marks without going over.Over all this pump has been easy to use and with the cap accessory easy to change out with the next full water bottle.

I use 5gl water jugs now. This is reasonably priced alternative to the water dispensers. It works great.

I really like it. Kids make less mess now and easy to use and clean.

This little pump is magic. For the all cost, what a great product. Pumps great. Between my son and I, we’ve gone through 4 expensive gig name water dispensers. Wasn’t about to jump and buy another one. Came across this and thought how bad can it be for the cost. Warranty looks great and straight forward.

Carrying 5 gallon water bottles up to our second floor kitchen was getting difficult for my husband due to age and this little pump solved the problem for him. We leave the bottles in our attached garage where they are delivered and use this pump and a spare to pump water into 2 plastic pitchers - 1.5 gallon total - that he carries upstairs putting the smaller one in the fridge once per day. Much easier for him. We get 30-35 gallons of water pumped on a single charge with this method of usage. With two pumps we always have one charged and ready to go when the first one gives out. They have lasted well over a year with no sign of giving out. Great solution to our issue at a great price.

Have had to switch to bottled water in my new house and the water company tried HARD to upsell me multiple dispensing elaborate devices, none of which I wanted. I asked about devices like this one in my local hardware first, no luck. And then had a hard time selecting from the many many pop on pumps on amazon. This one works really well: on and off on a dime with not a drop of water after you turn it off. Easy to recharge too. For me there is one downside though: it is too big to attach to the mouth of the 5 gallon bottle if you take the plastic seal top off completely; but if you leave it on the PUDHOM is very hard to secure evenly. But even if it is slightly off kilter it otherwise works just as well.

Needs frequent charging so would be challenging to rely on while camping w o power.
