Loved it!
I received this book as a Christmas present because I am an avid follower and donator to the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado. I've been there a few times and plan to go again this spring! This book was so well written and engaging. It made me smile and cry at times. The rescue stories and the amazing people involved with WAS and the rescues are truly amazing and admirable. Very compelling read! I'm also so happy to know that most of the proceeds go directly to the WAS.

Heartwarming story!
This is an amazing story about an amazing man who devotes his life to rescuing exotic animals from abuse, starvation and suffering. His animals are rescued around the world and taken to Colorado to his Sanctuary. I also donate because all the money goes to the feeding and caring of these animals who are now out of cages and into the open areas. He, Pat Craig, is the most unselfish, caring, devoted man I've ever met. (Yes, I actually got to meet him once!) Visiting his Sanctuary is my favorite thing to do. In this book you will hear about his rescues and see pictures of his "residents". The tiger on the cover is SIMON.

Rescued Wild Animals and Their Life in Their New Sanctuary
I highly recommend this book. It educates us on how large the ownership is of wild animals throughout the world and their mistreatment just to entertain us. It's all about the money!! Thanks to this book 'Forever Wild, Forever Home' we are taken through the rescue of these beautiful, wild animals and their recovery as they transition to live in a Wild Sanctuary in Colorado. It is heartwarming to see how hard these rescuers work to give these beautiful animals their freedom and allow them to roam free and sniff the fresh air. This is a MUST READ!!

A Must Read About The Exotic Animal Crisis in the Us
A great book about the awful truth on the lack of regulation in the US concerning exotic animals. The amount of pain we allow those animals to suffer is not acceptable. The lucky ones will be privileged to become residents at The Wild Animal Sanctury...but for all the others, we need to pressure our representatives to enforce strong regulation ...and stick laws against the possession of wild animals...in the twenty century no one should be allow to have a tiger lion Jaguar or the like as a pet...Thank you to The Wild Animal Sanctuary for all they do!

The history of the Sanctuary and its mission
The book is a comprehensive overview of the plight of captive Wildlife in the world and the plight of the animals who are kept captive by humans without scruples and/or understanding of their charges. If you are not moved bythe suffering of these animals and touched to donate to this worthwhile undertaking you must not know empathy.

Great book, terrific place, amazing animals.
Ive had the great pleasure of visiting the Wildlife Sanctuary a few times since my brother lives in Colorado. So when I saw this book, I pounced on it. And it did not disappoint. It was entertaining and educational. It made me want to visit again, and it reminded me that we need to continue to make progress improvements.

Make a difference for the animals here.
Fun Read! This is the story of a wild animal sanctuary right here in the United States. More needs to be done to help save the wild animals bread in captivity, then spending lives in a 4x6 barred cell. The realistic habitats of the saved animals are highlighted in the Sanctuary. 777

An amazing story about a truly amazing animal rescue organization
The book gives you the history behind the Sanctuary's founder, the unexpected paths that were taken in the never ending quest to rescue those that should have been wild. The book is very easy reading and anyone who doesn't find themselves instantly planning a trip to the Sanctuary isn't a true wild animal lover.
