Super High Quality Product
While more expensive than run of the mill presses, MJP-105 XL is absolutely worth the money. It is incredibly well made press - it has perfectly balanced base, super quality gear mechanism, LARGE pressure cup to avoid droplets flying around, is easy to disassemble/clean and has an astonishing amount of pressure. We bought it mainly to press large pomegranates, which this machine handles with ease! Just cut them in halfs and the large top cup easily accommodates it for pressing. Our previous method required 1.5 pomegranates to make a cup of juice, this machine only takes 1 pomegranate for the same amount of juice. Furthermore, the juice tastes much better - it is very dark red color without any 'extras' in it... I am sure that grapefruit and oranges are no effort of this machine to handle... I am sure that my kid will use this press and probably his kids as well...

Great juicer
I absolutely love this juicer. It is so easy to use, clean, and very low maintenance. Definitely sturdy, and I feel I will not need to buy another one for at least 20 years, if that.

Very high quality, simple, superior design. Fast.
This is the by far best juice press out there!I did a lot of research. The only juice press that comes close is the "Large Verve Culture Citrus Juicer" - and it's actually not a very close competitor because it doesn't have a gear drive like the Tribest. The simple lever of the Verve prevents you from putting all your force straight down so it tilts toward you as you move the lever and that tends to make the juicer tippy. The materials aren't as high quality either.I also bought a Hamilton Beach Juice Extractor. It's OK if you want to juice celery or carrots, but it can't make orange juice without first meticulously peeling them into segments perfectly cleaned of the white pith. The orange juice was pithy anyway. The Tribest MJP-105 is a superior design that can make a lot of perfect juice quickly, even pomegranate. The only design improvement I would like to have is the ability to remove the upper cup to make it easier to clean, although it's not that big of a deal. Also, be advised that if you don't like "pulp" you'll have to strain it out of the juice - but I like pulp... I also think the MJP-105 is worth the extra cost over the MJP-100. The 105 is very heavy duty vs. the 100 - but comes in as a close second choice.

Check top of the press! Aluminium - pitted and leaving dark residue to the bottom as well
Product is very good to press pomegranates. My only concern was the top. When I cleaned top, always leaking black residue ( see first picture) .it is made in aluminium and it has pitted small holes like an old and used product or defective one..I then check the cup that is stainless steel but still will have black residue because of the top..( see second picture) . Afraid that it will go to the fruit even though bottom part is stainless steel. For the expensive price , expecting better and high quality!I returned it , I try to order another one but seems Amazon sent me the same one .. so I am going to return it again and hope they will send me a new one .Hope, it was just mine that was defectuous and new one won’t leak black residue everywhere !Will keep you updated but just wanted you to test it before sending as a gift or before return policy expired..

Solid, metal, easy to clean, tall juicer press
It comes mostly-assembled; You just have to take the black safety cup and put it on the wire in back to swing around as a drip catch and screw in a top handle. Two rotations and the fruit will press. We started with a box of pomegranates, and this device is perfectly-suited for the job. All metal, sold on the counter, too tall for easy storage. I'm impressed with the commercial feel. Lift out the strainer to clean. I think this will get daily use.

Expected better for the price, NO CSR SERVICE
EDIT: 110122;I have not been using it, because it’s a lot of work, and because (at Whole Foods prices anyway) it costs $20-30 to squeeze 1/2 gallon. Squeezing my own did make the very best fresh squeezed I’ve had (in a few years when I retire, I’ll probably start using this thing again). Maybe the $30 was out of season prices, idk. The fresh squeezed at Whole Foods went up to $15 per 1/2 gal.. And it’s hit or miss if I end up throwing them out (why in the heck would they put rotten oranges in, and think peopke will still buy them). Found fresh squeezed at “the fresh market” (about the same price), and these are good enough to enjoy..EDIT: 081422:I found the company with a Google search and emailed them, it took a while but they finally got back to me. They asked me to attach the receipt, which I already did on the previous email. They asked for the serial number which I replied to them on 8/3 (attached the receipt again too).. Today is 8/14 and no reply so far after 11-days.EDIT: 070522:Knocking off a star because there is no support..There is no way to contact seller/company on Amazon.I found the company online and sent an email re: the pitted part and the defective cone that pops out. 8-days and no reply., , ,I like the thoughtful drip cup,And the handle mechanism (although I’ve never used the other style to compare)..CON’s:❶ For the price I expected better.❷ Maybe a defect, the top part of the press is not smooth and shiny like the rest (see picture).. It is pitted, which makes it more difficult to clean the OJ off of it with a paper towel.❸ After pressing an orange, about half the time the orange ends up stuck to the cone (so I have to remove the orange and reinstall the cone).. There are little bumps and a notch on the cone that is supposed to lock it in place, but it does not work as intended. Possibly the reason the oranges get stuck onto the cone is because I got the larger size.❹ I bought the larger one because I thought I might want to squeeze pomegranates someday. But it appears 98% of the time I’m squeezing oranges, so the description should’ve mentioned that it doesn’t work quite as well when the cone is too large for oranges. For the price paid the company really should’ve given us two different sizes of cones (and made the top part simply screw off for cleaning, and to swap it out for larger or smaller fruits).❺ Cleaning the top part of the press is problematic.. If I hold it under we’re running water there seems no way to avoid water getting into the gear mechanism (which I worry will eventually ruin it) . And if I use paper towels I get the feeling there’s a film of orange juice that will attract bugs.Even with all these cons I still mostly like it.. So sad unable to get help, and this had potential to be the best.TIP:See picture.. These glass drinking jars are a perfect fit (height).. The lid has a silicone ring to seal. They are narrow, but the drinking jars are straight (no bottleneck at top).I’ve found it easier to squeeze a lot of oranges at once, and put these jars in the fridge..SEARCH AMAZON: Qinline 16oz Regular Mouth Glass Drinking Jars
