I never realized how much I would enjoy giving the command: "Alexa, turn on front light." Not that I'm too lazy to walk over and flip a switch, but getting out of bed in the middle of the night if, for whatever reason, I need to go through the front room, it's super cool and convenient to not have to turn on a flashlight to get there, or be blinded by a bright light and stub my toes.These light bulbs work great and were easy to pair with Ms Alexa!

The light from these bulbs was noticeably cooler than the LED bulbs I was replacing, but it’s fine. I have this bulb in a fixture with a dimmer switch, and I had to adjust that switch so the bulb wouldn’t flicker.

I love using my Alexa, but setting up smart plugs is a daunting tasks. My daughter recently turned me on to these light bulbs that work only with Alexa, you don't need to set them up through a third party app. I was amazed how easy these are to pair with your Alexa app. Just screw them in, turn on the light, and Alexa will locate it and pair it to your app.

Easy to install ans connect with Alexa. Nice and bright and can be dimmed.

I bought these bulbs back in February to replace four 60W Phillips Hue (color) bulbs, because I wanted bulbs that were a bit brighter and didn’t want to pay Phillip’s prices. Mistake. Big mistake.Initially, I thought they were pretty decent. But, I have had them go unresponsive so many times. Back to setup mode, renamed them, reset groups. A month or so ago, after spending way too much time going through all of the steps, I thought that maybe I had finally found the right formula. I felt triumphant. Recently, two of the four went unresponsive. Again. It took me a week to even try to mess around with them again, because I wasn’t ready to face the frustration of setting them up again.I just spent an hour today trying to get them back online. I disabled the old names, then deleted them. Then I put them into pairing mode and asked Alexa to run discovery. Back to unresponsive. Grrrr. Tried it a couple more times. Same thing. Added them manually. Looked like a winner. Then, one dropped again. Fixed it. The other one dropped. There may have been cussing involved. Both are back to being unresponsive. The two that are in lamps on my console haven’t croaked yet. But, they will probably go unresponsive again, as they have done so before.Coming back to this page to write this review, I noticed Amazon’s warning that this is a frequently returned item. Please let that be a warning to you before adding them to your cart.

I could not for the life of me find reviews that talk about operating a smart bulb with a wall switch. Now that I’ve tested this one, I can do it.I have a lamp in my TV room controlled by a wall switch. I’m fine with that and want to keep it that way. That is, until I get comfortable on the couch with the cat sitting in my lap. I don’t want to have to get up and turn it off. That is where the Sengled bulb and the echo come in: “Alexa, Light 1 Off”.When I’m ready to leave the room I say “Alexa, Light 1 On”, and my way out of the formerly dark room is lit. Then, when I leave the room, I use the WALL switch to turn off the light as I’ve been used to doing for years. The next time I go to the room, I turn the light on with the WALL switch and it comes ON, which is what I wanted.Even better, it comes on at the brightness level it was last set for. I chose the 100W equivalent bulb which I normally run at about 50%. I get the same light level as the old bulb, but I have the option for more light when I need it (such as when cleaning). “Alexa, Light 1 to 100%”. I use that a lot.To be clear, this is the Bluetooth light that works only with Alexa. I’m okay with that as I’ve been an Echo user for a while now, and I’m already signed up. All of the other smart bulbs I considered need some app downloaded, an account set up, and linking the app to Amazon. I need that like a hole in the head.I absolutely love that this bulb can be set up without a third-party app. That is worth a few extra bucks to me. I was up and running in a couple of minutes. The setup isn’t totally glitch-free (largely due to the Alexa app) and Alexa sometimes says the light isn’t responding (even when it does). I can overlook that because it works anyway.I am so pleased, I bought additional 100W equivalent bulbs. One is over the dining table where I like it to be dim most of the time. It is great to be able to get more light on demand without using dimmer switches (which I don’t have). Finally, the Echo can do something of value other than play music.

It’s such a shame that the two bulbs I bought emitted such an intense yellow because these are the brightest lightbulbs I’ve ever had. I think the value is fair for how long these bulbs would last, they’re subtle, easy to install and connect to Bluetooth and just get the job done when you don’t feel like getting up. But I can’t get over how yellow my room looks now, so I will be exchanging them to see if the “daylight” is more of what I’m looking for.

Es una excelente compra tomando en cuenta que ya tengas Alexa (Echo), no tienes que descargar ninguna aplicación del fabricante, se vincula super rápido con tu asistente de voz, y lo puedes manipular desde la aplicación de Alexa en el celular. Cabe señalar que estos focos funcionan a través de Bluetooth conectándose directamente con tu dispositivo Echo, y contrario a lo que se podría pensar que la señal no les llegará a los focos si se encuentran muy lejos de donde está nuestro Alexa, no es así, se conectan a través de una "malla" creada con los mismos focos, o sea, cada foco funciona como un repetidor de la señal y eso amplía la zona de cobertura... excelente compra!

Son mega facil de vicular con Alexa, se puede regular la luz, muy duraderos tengo otros de esta misma marca que compre hace 2 años y aun funcionan sin falla

The media could not be loaded. Iluminan muy bien, mejor que otros y su configuración es muy fácil y rápida, directo desde la app de Alexa. El único pero es ese, que sólo son compatibles con Alexa. En el video, cambio su iluminación entre 100% y 1%. Nota: sólo es blanco, no es de colores.

I've been using these bulbs for 5 months now and have had no problems with them. Super easy to install (it's just a lightbulb, how many people does it take to screw one in? lol) and detect through my Amazon Show(s). I know some reviewers have said that these bulbs have stopped working after sometime but it may be the strength of their Bluetooth that is affecting them from working properly. I installed one bulb in my living room, one in my home office and a Amazon receiver switch for the dining room LED accent lighting and all are about 1-15 feet away from an Amazon show in my home and they all work great. I LOVE the convenience of turning the lights on with my voice commands ("Alexa, turn on the office light.") and when going to bed at night, can just give the voice command to turn off all the lights at once ("Alexa, goodnight".) You can also control these lights from your Alexa app and it doesn't matter where you are in the world; as long as your home's Amazon Echos are online. I can turn my lights on from the work office or when I'm about to arrive home to make my house safe. One last thing to note is that if you use these lightbulbs, you need to leave the light fixture on. For example, if you put a smart bulb in a lamp, that lamp needs to be on to power the lightbulb, even when you don't have the lightbulb turned on. This allows the bulb to "listen" for Alexa. You can still manually turn the lamp on and off but to use voice commands, you'll need to leave the lamp on, and turn the bulb off through Alexa.Aside from detecting the lights through the Alexa app during the initial installation, there's little to no programming. Simply install bulb, turn on light, let Alexa detect and give each lightbulb a specific name (Dining Room Light, Office Light, Living Room Light, etc.) and THAT'S IT. You don't even need to recite the name for Alexa to understand.If you use Amazon Echo at home, you NEED to get these light bulbs. I can't tell you how many times I found it convenient to turn lights on by using voice commands, like if I'm upstairs at night, I can give the command to turn on the downstairs lights before I even go downstairs. It probably sounds miniscule but these smart bulbs do es indeed save you time and effort.
