Bought these for my mother for Mother’s Day. She is a big fan of Martha Stewart’s gardening tools.She tried these out and was very pleased with them!

I selected this pass-through pruner because it has high ratings and is made in Europe. I am generally quite satisfied with it. No instructions on how to select the degree of blade opening, but I figured it out pretty fast. I wish the blade holder was metal instead of plastic, but it does appear to be a heavy duty plastic which should last. Cuts well.

rendering the shears next to useless for the safety issue.otherwise they were a light pair of shears for not doing much, and too expensive for what they are. we were disappointed as we love our opinel folding knives.

Saw this advertised elsewhere and bought here. Not as easy to hold or as sharp a cut as others bought on AMZ (not sure I can mention names, but look for other high end models to compare here.) I also find the return is sticky, does not spring back freely, but a squirt of WD40 penetrant seems to have helped that. I won't order this make or model again.

These were bought as a gift and the recipient is very pleased with them. On a personal basis I think the locking latch is somewhat clumsy in operation and the return spring mechanism that opens the secateurs could be more robust. I have used Japanese secateurs that feel better in the hand with a smoother action and at a slightly lower price. These Opinel ones, cut cleanly and do look very attractive.

Liegt mir hervorragend in der Hand und schneidet absolut toll. Weitaus besser als meine Fiskars.
