You could just about lay a towel down at your door. This product comes shipped folded up to a size of about 7" x 9". That should tell you all you need to know regarding to how sturdy it is and how it lays on the floor. It is a tripping hazard as it curls up around the edges. This is what makes buying on line difficult at times. What one person calls "heavy duty" is just cheaply made and thin. You can cut corners sometimes but on something that is on floor and suppose to be durable enough to wipe your feet on needs to be a better quality than this.

Purchased this high-quality mat to place in front of the door that leads into the house from the garage. 35” width means that it runs from one edge of the door frame to the other, so the entryway is fully covered.Mat was delivered rolled-up...which meant it wouldn’t lie flat upon opening...but after placing a couple of bricks on some 2x4s along the edges while it sat outside in the sun for a couple of days...and 85 degree temperatures...that is no longer an issue.Also has enough weight to it so that it stays firmly in place with no movement. Excellent product that’s well worth the money and the color (grey) was a perfect match to the photo.

I have had a Masterpiece Door mat for almost 20 years and it is still in great shape - so I wanted another one! The height is perfect to allow the doors to open, it removes and contains both debris and water from feet entering and exiting my home, looks great! It came rolled up and lay flat within a day or two (but it was during a warm season which would help.) I have one inside and one outside the front door and no difference between the two after a couple months of desert sun. The only negative is a slight bulge of yarn in two places after my strong kitty has been sharpening her claws. I would definitely recommend and would get them again!

The border of the 24 x 36 gray mat I ordered looks faded, whitish instead of black. Wondering if this mat has been in a warehouse for years. I like the look and will keep it since I need something right now, but am not happy with the fact that it looks old around the edges. Tried wiping it down but it’s a problem with the actual border material. Otherwise it is soft for bare feet, which is nice.

This sits in my garage and has been very durable. Easy to clean whether you're hosing it down or taking a broom to it. It's got great grip that prevents it from moving and stays in place.
