For magnification options, this unit offers lots of combinations by pairing the lenses. Unfortunately there are a few design features that could be improved, but then costs would rise, so this is a great purchase overall. The negatives are: Headband material stiff, so it "bites" your scalp around the edges. The ratcheting knob on the back to tighten it after you put it on is a good idea, but the ratchet easily loosens, so the unit droops after wearing it a while. The main design problem is that the batteries are in the front of the "bill," so all the weight is pulling it down. A battery holder on the back of the band would solve this issue. I will be using a microfiber cloth to pop the lenses in and out to avoid scratches. Again, the magnification and clarity are very good for plastic lenses - and this unit offers far more combined magnifications than any other I've found -- plus the LED light. And the batteries are AAA's -- easy to replace.

I recently had plastic surgery on my nose and can't use my reading glasses for the next month until it heals. The MagniPros Magnifier allows me to read again and look at my phone and laptop. I had the font size maxed out on my phone and laptop which meant I had to scroll around the page to find buttons or else I had to read my devices with a hand held magnifying glass. Now I can lower the visor on my magnifier and look at a whole web page as it fits on the screen. I had a close up magnifying visor for crafts but its single high magnification lens made it so I had to hold my phone inches from my face. With the MagniPros Magnifier I can select the correct magnification lens for reading or one with less power for watching a movie on amazon prime on my laptop. I've even used the light to check my post op appointment time in a darkened room. I couldn't be happier with this tool. It has really changed my recovery, now I'm free to do many more thing instead of just sitting and watching a TV.

I like the concept of this head lantern; however, I am purchasing a second one. The first one ( owned for approx. 5 mos.) was working well;I put it away safely and recently needed to use the headlamp. Well, headlamp was not functioning - new batteries, etc. did not function. Ifthis happens again I will return the second purchase to Amazon. The magnifying portion of this product was wonderful and is the only reasonI am giving it a second try.

The weight of the headpiece takes time to adjust to, and I wish the eye-pieces were a tad bigger, height and width. Also, the light could be brighter. However, it does magnify small objects, and I do find it useful. Eye-pieces are good quality.

head adjustments loosen as you wear it causing lens to move while trying to view. Since you have to be very close to the object you are viewing to see clearly through the lens it needs to be steady to see properly. Had to continually readjust and take much time away from what I was trying to do. Am returning these!
