These really work!
I decided to go from semi hydroponic mediums back to dirt I’ve noticed so many gnats. So before buying an electric gnat catcher I decided to buy these. It took a couple of months but I am finally seeing less and less. I am happy with the way these are controlling the issue. They have even caught a couple of lizards…kinda felt bad for them but they weren’t doing their job of eating all gnats. So easy to use and super sticky. A great value for the quality. Would definitely repurchase. No need for an electric one at this point.

Catches flies
The most important thing you will learn here is that these actually work. For whatever reason our plants consistently have flies. Not matter what we try. And these work. So good to the point where within a week they are entirely fully of fruit flies. I’m glad they are non liquid bait , they stick perfect and are such a breeze to put in the plants

They work but are STICKY!!
These work well and are catching the gnats in my plants / office. Some are difficult to put into the dirt and will break when pressure is applied to get them into the soil. I still leave them in the plant to do their magic even when broken. They are very STICKY which means they catch the gnats BUT this also means they will stick to your plant if you are not careful of the placement. To stay effective I check my plants once a week for gnats / traps and if there are more than 10 gnats on a trap I go ahead and change it out for another trap.I also make sure 1 out of 3 plants minimum has a trap while we are having problems. So even the plants with 0 gnats are protected while we are trying to rid the infested plants of them.I am looking for a preventative measure because these are only good for after the problem begins.

Works immediately
Buy these- Period!! Purchased black as they stand out less in our plants. Hundreds of gnats trapped and killed within first 6 hours. 🤮 I’ll keep rotating in new sticky traps until the majority are eradicated.

The black ones work!!!
I got black so I could avoid having awkward bright yellow flags all around my apartment, and they’re great! So happy. I have a bunch of these stuck into my various plants, and caught maybe 30 gnats the very first day. It’s been under a week, and I’m probably at a few hundred. I need to apply a systemic insecticide and some mosquito bits, but this is a great way to efficiently kill the flying adults.Only warning is to be very careful when placing them, as the adhesive is incredibly sticky. I accidentally touched a leaf and couldn’t remove it without tearing off a big chunk, but that’s on me.

Didn’t work well for me
I have a lot of problems with knots, mosquitoes and flies. My daughter and I have searched everywhere to find the source. We think it from a neighbors dumpster. But I put the little sticky markers everywhere. They are very sticky, no smell, not messy, can be removed easily. I’ve had some up for over a month and they are still sticky. I do not feel like they are a safety problem. Well in truth I did catch several flies on 2 that are still in my living room ivys so they are durable and last a long time. I think some insects may have been scared away before landing on them. But there were quite a few flies on the two that I put in my plants. I put them up differently though. I took a couple of thin sticks and held them on with rubber bands so they stuck up a little bit above the plants. Over the course of a few days I caught several flies( embarrassing it makes my house sound dirty) Now I’m going to try them outside on my doors.

These work like a charm!
I got these nearly 2 years ago and I'm only now about to run out. Absolutely worth it. They easily go into the soil and attract those little flies like a charm. While it can be a little gross to look at when it's caught a bunch of those suckers, there's that comfort in knowing that they really do work. Time to grab some more!

They Work!
I was a bit skeptical at first wondering if these sticky traps would actually trap anything. Wow! It's incredible what you catch on these.I've caught so many gnats or fruit flies that otherwise I wouldn't have caught. I tried using various liquid traps with vinegar etc.. but in my opinion and with me trying them over and over, they absolutely did NOT work. These sticky traps are ingenious! They're affordable too! One suggestion for consumers, if would want to make them stretch longer and cover around your plant more (you might be down to your last few), you can cut them up the center from the bottom arrow that sticks into the ground all the way to the top where that hole in the center is. So your butterfly will look like it's been split in half as well as the other shape it comes with.I recommend that you also monitor how many bugs you have stuck on those shapes and if it's starting to look crowded please change them for some fresh ones. Doing this will also show you if the problem is dying down meaning the surface isn't being covered with them as much so maybe the critter problem is coming to an end OR it will show you if the sticky strips keep filling up you'll know that they're still hanging around like the unwelcome guests that they are. Also as I mentioned, they have that hole on the top so you could hang them versus staking them into soil. Either way you will be AMAZED at what you catch. Highly recommend. Love the bright yellow because it attracts them much like a bright light would.

They do really work!
I started bringing plants in preparing for winter. I bought soil from Walmart and potted the plants I was bringing in. With in a few days my home was full of pesky little flies. They seemed to like my tea which was so frustrating. I started leaving little dishes around, some with fruit juice, some with cider vinegar, I even tried red wine. I didn't catch a single fly. After researching I realized these were not fruit flies but gnats, most likely already in the soil when I potted them. I was getting desperate as I was planning for a large dinner party and didn't want a house full of bugs. I read the mixed reviews for these insect traps and decided to give them a try. While impatiently waiting for my delivery and not sure if it they were going to work I replaced my soil with higher quality soil. My insect traps did arrive quickly. I peeled the paper off the sticky part and stuck them in my plants, I this this is success. They seem to be working quite well. I was a little clumsy putting them in so I ending up with some soil on them but I'm sure I will get better at putting them in. I will make sure I always have these on hand. My last resort would have been to toss all of my plants out as I have done that in the past. I feel like I am winning this battle.

A real life saver
I’m a real plant lover, but decided to skip the expensive indoor fort and bought outdoor dirt. Big mistake as it was full of bugs. These attracted the bugs and quickly solved the problem. And the shapes make them not such an eyesore. Sticky on both sides and sturdy to stick into the dirt
