This is the only car barrier that I found that works for my dogs. I still have to fasten them to seatbelts because they are stubborn huskies and will attempt to climb over it in the small gap between the barrier and the ceiling of my car. But overall, this has been the best at keeping my dogs in the back so they don't try to get under my feet looking for crumbs while I'm trying to drive. I will say that the only drawback is it's not super easy to put up and take down, so I leave it up in my car between the back seats and the trunk and I only have to take it down when I need to fold my seats down for whatever reason. So it's best used as something you leave up all the time rather that something you intend to remove frequently. But with all that being said, it's quite durable, it's adjustable so you can make it fit your car better (I have a Honda CRV 2016 and it fits perfectly), and I think it comes with a bungee cord or two, which helps keep it from rattling when you're on the highway or a bumpy road or whatever. I have my secured well enough that it doesn't move or make noise at all when I'm driving - I don't even notice it most of the time. also, because of the design, I feel like it's easy to see through it and it doesn't obstruct my view out of the back of my car at all. 10/10 would recommend if you have rowdy dogs that can't stay out of the front seats while you're trying to drive.

This is a great product. It was easy to put together and just as easy to install, fit in our little GMC Terrain perfectly. Would buy again.

I have had this installed for a month now and it works to keep the dogs where they belong, but the installation was so annoying I almost returned it. The directions were minimal. I eventually tied some ropes to the grid while it was flat on the cargo compartment bed, and then I used the ropes to pull up the grid and tied it to the headrests. Only then was I able to use the included bungee cords to attach the bottom of the grid to the headrests. The top of the grid was not being held in place by anything at that point (it was flopping backwards) so I used a rope to tie the top to a garment rack I have over the back seat. I could also have tied it directly to the back seat grab handles. The barrier grid is pretty adjustable for width, I don't have a problem with that. But the three sections are held together by plastic clamps that you have to align just right to screw them together. That wasted some more of my time until I got them lined up correctly. So overall it works but it's not something I would be able to remove and replace easily for car cleaning or if I have to flop the seats down to carry something large.

Overall easy to install but definitely need 2 people (one to hold in place, one to secure). Fits my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee well. Serves the purpose of containing my pups in the back where they are safest. Great purchase/great value.

I am a dog walker who picks up dogs in my car, drives them to a hiking location then drives them back home. I was having issues where dogs were backtied to my headrests and the dogs were jumping into the backseat from the cargo/trunk of my Kia Soul while I was driving or running into a house to grab another dog. This was concerning me as it can be dangerous if a dog is jumping around while I’m driving or getting in other dog’s faces. I decided to try out this product and I was pleasantly surprised! It was a tiny bit difficult to assemble in the car, but I managed to get it on my own pretty quickly once I figured out exactly how to maneuver everything the right way. I have had it up for probably close to 7-8 months now and it hasn’t needed to be adjusted once. It’s holding up great even with the more rambunctious dogs I drive around plus our crazy 7 month old Australian cattle dog puppy. Overall, this is a great product for the price. I’m sure you could find higher quality, but this honestly does the same job at a great price.

Works great on my Equinox

Used on 2024 Subaru Outback for 45 pound golden retriever. Keeps her contained and she really tries to jump the back seat. Easy to install and adjust

This works okay, but if your front seats are bucket and there is a gap between them, you have to figure out a way to block that area or the dog goes right through it. It was easy enough to install.
