Update January 10, 2025: Another tip & a temporary nail-fix trick.I now warm this bottle of gel before I use it. It thins it out slightly and it's much easier to apply.I pinched a nail mid November doing hardcore yardwork. As it grew out, it had a weak area which eventually split and left me with a severely angled nail and a tender spot. I waited a week, then filed & prepped the remaining nail. I applied this gel base over the nail & carefully filled in the missing part at the same time. Went on to build it up with color and a top coat. Didn't think it would work, but it did. I now have a partial false nail that is not only protecting my nail bed, but it's allowing the nail to grow back over it strong & healthy. My Mom couldn't tell which nail was the broken one. It didn't hurt curing it and it peels off easily without causing discomfort or doing any further damage. **Added a pic (the green glitter polish) to show the angle of a broken/short nail that was hidden & repaired using this peel off base coat, 2 coats of green & a top coat**I'm sold on this gel!!Update August 2, 2024: Latest mani is now 15 days out & still going strong. I've pulled weeds, washed dishes, colored my hair, peeled stickers off of things. Not a single chip or any lifting. Wow!! I've discovered that using a dehydrator before applying this gel makes a huge difference. Also, don't cap the ends of your nails with this or apply right up to the edges because that's what makes it pop off with the slightest little bump. Cap your nails with color & top coat. The gel will still peel off easily. The more I work with this gel, the better it gets.OG Review: When I was getting professional manis, I only wore a French. I liked all of the available color options, but didn't want to commit to one that I'd want to change soon after. I'd also make sure each French lasted for 4ish weeks because the expense added up. After 2020, I went the DIY route & my French looked great, but it was difficult to remove the builder gel & it took alot of time to prep my nails for a fill.I bought this out of curiosity & honestly, I thought it was too good to be true. I was expecting a total disaster, but this really makes gel polish removal fast & easy. When I was ready, they lifted right off without needing to pry & scrape. It took about 1-2 minutes to remove all ten nails. See the attached pictures of the before & after.For this white mani, I started out by using a nail dehydrator on clean prepped nails, then one coat of this base. It will self-level, just make sure not to go too thick with it or it will come off on its own rather quickly after the final cure. I cured this base for 90 seconds & it was still slightly tacky. It needs to stay like that so that whatever you apply on top of it bonds well. It also helps to layer your gel polish color with at least 2 coats & then follow up with 2 thin top coats to finish so that there's enough there to peel off. I used Beetles for a top coat because I already had it. As long as it's UV gel polish, they all work together. No chipping, cracking or lifting with this mani. My nails are 12 days out and they probably would've lasted a bit longer, but I wanted to change my polish color.For the next mani, my nails only needed to be slightly trimmed, shaped, the surface gone over with a sanding block & they were ready. My second peel-off mani was also successful. That color was only meant to wear for a few days & again, very little effort to remove it.This product is a total gamechanger and a great way to save money, stay home and do your nails on your own time. I've ordered all the cool colors I've always wanted to wear knowing I can change them without much fuss. Once you invest in all of the products & a good LED lamp, everything pays for itself 10 times over.I've tried alot of home gel products & techniques over the last 4 years & this one is my new fave.

I use this under all of my press on sets and it makes removal so much easier. Put a layer on in the center, avoid getting near the edges, cure, wipe tacky layer off with alcohol, apply press on or gel x as usual. When you need to remove they peel right off.

This peelable base is a TIME SAVER! Peels off and no damage at all to my natural nails! This is only my second time using it, but I already love it! It is very thick, but you can thin it on the side of the bottle before applying to your nails.The first time I was only able to get one days wear out of it before it peeled off in sheets. Beginners mistake, as I probably shouldn’t have washed dishes so soon. I also should have followed other reviewers advice, and not place it all the way to the tip for better wear. The second time I did just that, plus applied a foundation base over that all the way to the tip. Then followed with two coats of polish and topcoat, capping the ends. I am on day 7 and have only had 1 nail partially peel after returning to work. Just peeled the rest and redid it. Again, no damage to the nail which makes me so happy!Now I can look forward to doing my nails! No longer have to worry about sanding the topcoat down too far and hitting my actual nail. No more soaking, dust flying, nothing! Just peel, toss and start all over! I am excited that I can finally use all the gel polish/glitters I have from the starter kits I had purchased from Amazon! I also had no problem applying the foil glue and foil for an accent nail over this base either! I used both Beetles brand polish and Gaoy glitter polish.

Ive tried two other peel off base coats and this is by far my favorite. It took some trial and error to get it to last long, but I was able to get it up to 11 days without peeling once, and I usually can get up to 6 or 7 days now.Here are some tips on how I get it to stay long. (I've had it start peeling after an hour before without proper prep)1. Nail prep - wash hands with dish soap to get rid of oils, push back cuticles and have a clean nail base.2. Use a thin coat and don't go all the way to the edges.3. Cure for 90 seconds instead of 60.4. Use a regular base coat or nail builder gel as your next layer and extend the polish slightly beyond your peel off layer - do two layers curing between each time. (This step is what made a huge difference in longevity)5. Add color and top coat like normal, extending the top coat slightly beyond the color.6. Important: For each layer, have a paper towel soaked with rubbing alcohol and carefully wipe the edges to ensure that no gel polish is touching your cuticles. After cleaning the edges, cure for at least 90 seconds. (Whenever I let polish cure on a cuticle, it inevitably starts lifting sooner. )It might just be my LED lamp, but for some reasons, 60 seconds isn't long enough for the base and top coats and when I've only done 60 seconds , I get lifting sooner.7. If you can, wrap your tips a bit with polish. This will help it to not start lifting at the tips as they get worn down the quickest.8. If any gel cures on your cuticle or skin, file it off (without hurting your skin) leaving it on will cause irritation and lifting.9. When I want to peel off, I soften my nails with warm water and they usually peel off readily. When they are dry, it can sometimes stick to the nail in parts and then I damage my nail. Usually, it comes off in one or two pieces.These are the tricks I've found to a long lasting manicure with a peel off base. Some people also buff the surface of their nails for prep, but I don't.Out of the three peel bases I've tried, this one is the best in terms of smoothness, being able to polish over it with ease, durability, and longest-lasting.

It works for peeling easily, but too well! My gel nails lasted a day before they were loose and coming up! Sad because I wanted a little more from this.
