This item only had the texture applied to one side of platform. Others I have bought had the two sides which makes the item last longer.

I needed this for my sugar gliders cage. They had a small wire corner shelf that was deteriorating and poking my gliders.This solved the problem. Plenty of room for eating or sipping from the water bottle and no nasty wires.

Kit & Kaboodle were interested in this as soon as they saw it. It took them awhile to accept it as safe, being birds, but they do use it, sometimes to rest, sometimes in passing. It's attractive & useful.

I used two of these shelves to provide safe place for food plate and fountain.

Recieved on time. Fits cage perfect. Just not being used. To late to return. It is as described.

I bought this for a pigeon, she likes to roost on it, and it makes for a great way for your bird to be able to rest their feet flat, which is important. Thanks, Tina

The wood is beautiful, the size was perfect, BUT there were not enough bolts to stabilize it. Three is not enough. It wobbles & moves & I can't tighten it anymore. It is not safe enough for my parrot. I'm very disappointed.

We use these shelves in our rats cage, they are super sturdy, so easy to get in and out of the cage to clean and move around. Love them.
