This is really wonderful, the bamboo gives a nice natural feel as it is not uniform in color. I was worried about the look of the plastic connectors, but they are actually fine. It took me about 20 min to assemble, very easy. It came with hammer, gloves, a set if cute gardening tools and a couple of spare pieces. Just follow the instructions and wear your gloves, it will be a breeze to put it together. I suggest to hammer down the pieces at each step, to make sure all is aligned.

I bought 2, used for houseplants.Easy to put together includes a mini mallet to put together. Sturdy, holds more weight than it looks like.

I initially thought this stand would be bigger in size after assembling but it still works perfect in front of my dining room window! I currently have 8 plants, two large books, and small gardening tools stored on the stand and it hasn’t caused any tilting or weight issues. One of the plants are quite large and on top and it stills holds well. It comes in a box with each piece separated so assembly is required but it was super easy to put together! It also comes with extra wood and plastic connector pieces.One concern is some of the wood pieces that make up the bones, if you will, we’re chipped or small pieces were coming off, so beware of splinters! It wasn’t a deal breaker for me and for the price, I wasn’t too concerned as it still feels like sturdy enough wood to hold everything in place. Another issue is the shelf portions have large gaps so smaller items may not fit well or won’t sit sturdy enough (I just put bigger items underneath).If you’re looking for an affordable but attractive shelf system for plants, books, etc. let this be your sign to go ahead and give it a try!
