A cartridge lasts for about a month in a 2-person household. Some of us still use this size of filter, rather than the larger ones. Does the job well, happy with these.

These filters appear to work well in my Brita filter jug. I cannot comment accurately as to how well they would fit other Brita Jugs, as I had already previously modified the filter tube fin by reducing it and the thickness of the cross piece at the bottom to accept other non Brita filters that claim to fit the jugs, but don't really unless you modify your jug. I'm quite happy with these less expensive filters as Brita filters are incredibly expensive now unless you get them on a half price deal.

Couldn’t get filters for Boots jug, all unavailable for a while. These fit perfectly (and are cheaper)

Whilst I am sure these work fine for drinking water filtration, I put them to another use.My wife has a steam generator iron which quickly clogs up on hard water. I will only use distilled water for engine cooling systems.De-ionised or distilled water is expensive.As we run a de-humidifier throughout the winter months, instead of throwing the collected water away, I filter it through these water filters by fitting one in a small plastic drum and draining it into a 25lt container.This gives me an endless supply of free distilled water for vehicle / boat maintenance and my wife’s steam generator iron which she hasn’t had to clean once since I started doing this.

Delivery was a lot quicker than expected, which was very much appreciated.Product exactly as stated and fits my standard Brita Filter jug perfectly. Followed directions on packaging and soaked cartridge before use. After allowing two fills before using. No clouding of water and tastes ‘yummy’ according to my daughter. Would definitely recommend

I have been using these filters in my old Boots filter jug. They do the job that I want which is making hard water better for a decent cup of tea.

They do just what the original ones do ....
