Bought this, which is smaller than a similar item I ordered which, unfortunately is no longer available. However, I am pleased with Gaston in general.The original colouring was somewhat bland, but did not differ from that advertised. My wife has given Gaston a general clean-up and paint job (see accompanying photo). Gaston will now join another grotesque on an external wall of the house.As usual with Amazon, excellent ordering and delivery.

My father absolutely loved his Gargoyle it's well made and can't wait to put it up .

Ok, I do like it, it is a heavy product for what it is, but I don't like misleading adverts, more so I don't like sellers who argue the fact that it is how it is, it is how we receive them. take a good look at the bracket that's the first image in this seller's advert it's rustic and this is the theme, now look at what I was supplied.It's metal, it's scratched, and it is supplied with screws that are way too small for this product's weight, so these had to be replaced at cost to me for better quality brass ones.I should not have needed to take these measures, Amazon was going to investigate (or so I was told) however I bought this on 18 June 2023, and on 05.08.2023 listing is still the same.I will keep the item but I shall still be taking this up with trading standards not against Amazon but against the seller, Amazon though I feel should vet products sold by third parties more carefully, and this product should not be sold unless it is as stated, as quite honestly don't sell me demand and give me a lump of coal.

This is a very impressive piece. I will be ordering a second one.
