Recently discovered my rescued spider BP had a pretty nasty mite infestation and bought this to combat the problem. It works surprisingly well. After a single application, I found numerous dead dots littering my hands and no longer pestering my snake. For that alone, I'll give the product five stars. The only downside is the smell. I found it to be much easier to spray the product in my hands and let the snake slither around, effectively coating it without the risk of accidentally spraying it into the eyes, nostrils, heat pits, etc. That said, the smell lingers on your hands for an absurdly long time, even after scrubbing your hands with soap and water. However, I won't subtract any stars for this, as it's clearly not meant to be used as a hand lotion or cologne. Wear gloves if you are sensitive to smells and rest assured knowing your snake is on its way to much-needed mite relief.

Haven’t used the product yet, but it arrived and when I opened it it had leaked everywhere in the bag.

Have a western fence lizard that decided to live with us. Noticed it was covered in what I thought were scabs on the eyes but turned out to be tiny little red mites. Sprayed this over the back of the lizard and used a q-tip to gently wipe over the eyes and the huge infestation was mostly gone. Re-applied every three days for a week and the mites are gone. Great stuff.Spray bottle isn't the best, but the stuff works. Also, don't get it on your hands, the smell will linger (use gloves).

As soon as I noticed one of my snakes had mites I ordered this product. I have six snakes and I panicked. I was very worried I wasn’t going to be able to get rid of them. As soon as the product came I used it. I love that it is completely safe for my snakes and it gets the job done. My mite problem was resolved in less than a week. Thank goodness!!

I purchased a juvenile ball python (about 8 months old per my vet for her wellness check)from a pet store (mostly because I felt sorry for it) and I fell in love with her. Shes a sweet girl. What I purchased along with her and didnt realize at the time, was mites! Yikes!!! So I ordered this product because of other reviews and I was not disappointed!! I took all of her substrate out, hides, water dish ect, scrubbed and treated her tank and replaced them with plastic food containers. I will say that when I prepared her plastic food container, I cut out her entrance point and held a flame to the cut portion to smooth it out and let it cool before I put it back in so she wouldnt get any nicks or cuts as she went in...... I sprayed the paper towels, let them dry then very carefully treated Charlie as directed. I placed her in the tank and the next morning I had dead mites. I know I will probably need to repeat the process several times but all that being said....I am extremely impressed with this product.

Had another spray by a different brand and with daily bin cleaning, washing and spraying in the bins and on the snakes, the mites weren't really going away. It was a bad infestation. So I read the reviews for this product and all mites are gone after 3 treatments. Wow! This stuff really works. And I haven't seen any bad reactions or negative changes in health for my snakes from using this product.

I have bought this product before, this time it came in a different bottle, I attached a photo, not sure if it's the same product or not. The old one worked great but I will have to see how this new one works if it works the same I will update

The spray seems to work well for my ball python and his enclosure. When treating your reptile I would recommend spraying on a washcloth or on your hands and rubbing it into their skin rather than spraying to avoid their eyes and other sensitive areas.
