My experience (combination sensitive skin) has been that this absorbs really well without leaving me feeling greasy. It feels really balancing, less dry patchy on the outside, less oily in the t-zone. It struggles a bit under my foundations (they seem to wear off faster if using this). I have a silicone based foundation that hates when I wear this, odd given the cyclopentasiloxane.Independently, I have a lot of serums I typically wear during the daytime with a light moisturizer, and most of those leave my skin feeling pretty dry by the end of the day. This makes my skin feel normal and comfortable. I won't get any of the irritation, itching. Just seems to calm everything down and prevent the hydration loss throughout the day.It kind of works as a light occlusive in a hydrating slugging routine. I've been doing skincare cycling (exfoliate, retinol, hydrate/repair x2) and I like this for an oil step (toner -> serums -> oil -> moisturizer/barrier cream) for keeping the moisture in. It's thinner than most of my other oils I use in this step, but it feels sufficient for this step without being as aggressive as some others.I like the formulation here. Always love the inclusion of propanediol anywhere I can get it. The fragrance is light and pleasant to me (though still fragranced). The formula seems to work well with combo skin. I haven't broken out from this or had any unpleasant experiences (past trying to wear it with the one foundation). I think choosing one word to describe this I would probably go with "comfortable". It really just seems to balance everything out and leave my skin feeling generally agreeable. I was expecting this product to be extremely greasy since it's oil based and after reading other reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is very thin, like a toner, and spread between my fingers a bit as I was trying to apply it. But it left my face feeling really soft and hydrated and not greasy at all. Also not matte-feeling, like most toners. Definitely more in line with a serum. The bottle is really nice, with a drawstring pouch and a cap made to look like wood. It will look nice sitting on a vanity. The smell didn't actually bother me and I found it pretty subtle. It does come out of the bottle pretty fast, so be aware.

This has the loveliest slightest scent. It doesn't stay around long, but it leaves my skin feeling so soft long after the scent dies down. I absolutely love this product. I highly recommend this.

This serum is very moisturizing and non irritating to my sensitive skin. Its moisturizing benefit can be felt all day. The bottle is glass with a nice wooden top.

The media could not be loaded. This ampoule is very thin.(see video) It goes on kind of like water, and when it dries it’s quite sticky. I’m sure that’s probably the maple. The one thing I can’t get past, is the very strong floral scent. I enjoy scents, and can tolerate them even on my face, but this is very intense for me. If you can tolerate strong fragrances, it probably won’t be a problem for you. I had to wash it off before I started sneezing.

This is a beautifully packaged serum consisting of two layers of liquid in the bottle. The bottle must be gently shaken and immediately sprayed onto clean face, then pat with hands to absorb. The product creates a thin layer of oily essence which hydrates and softens the skin. For my oily skin this product is better as a finishing touch of skincare to seal my serums and creams into the skin. For someone with thirsty dry skin it should be used as a serum- a second layer of skincare after a toner.This is a second product from Maycoop that I've tried, and I'm very impressed by them both so far. I tried their Rice water toner and it's fantastic, in fact, they go together nicely in my skincare routine as two amazingly hydrating and softening products. Because my skin has been so well hydrated by using these products in addition to heavy rich creams and retinol I've noticed that the tiny crinkles in the corners of my eyes completely disappeared. The deep lines in my forehead are still there, but that's a question of whether I'll save enough money for Botox. But with constant hydration and nourishment the little crepey lines will soften and disappear, so that's awesome real results.

This serum is great for dry skin, it really helps keep skin hydrated. I’ve used it while my skin was extremely dry and it helped keep my skin looking plumped. The consistency is good but a bit sticky. The bottle comes with a good amount and the price is right for the quality of the product
