:(
Was so excited for this mug, the design was beautiful, it was a self-treat. It came exactly as the image presented. Kept the drink warm, the lid was a bit iffy but I didn’t care I loved it.First use I took it to the gym, fidget it was on the self pushed my coat out caught the cup and it smashed instantly on the floor, will be buying a bamboo one next instead, I can’t have nice things 🥲… not a clever travel mug material

Love the design but gets cold quickly
I wanted my tea kept warm for about 2h but it was not hot enough after 30 minutes. Maybe I need to warm the cup first and cover it while it’s in my desk. And I got the people say, it is not suitable for travelling because it’s ceramic, heavy, and doesn’t keep the drink hot long enough. But I do love the design.

Smart, yet neither an indoor mug nor an outdoor mug
The combination of a ceramic outer and a thermal inner sounded like an odd combination to me before this mug arrived- and having now used it, I still think it’s an odd combination. I think of thermal mugs as travel mugs that need to be durable, but the ceramic outer makes this feel fragile- intuitively it feels just as breakable as a normal ceramic mug you’d have in your kitchen, and not the kind of thing you’d carry around on a walk or take on a picnic. I haven’t been brave enough to try it, but it feels like one single drop on the floor will be the end of this mug- and I want my travel mugs to be more durable than that. There’s another problem with the ceramic outer- it gets hot. When you put a freshly made, just-boiled cup of tea into this mug and leave it for a few minutes, the outer part of the mug gets hot to the touch. While it’s not quite as hot as a regular thin ceramic mug would get, it’s still a clear and obvious sign that the heat retention in this mug is not as good as in other travel mugs. It doesn’t get too hot to hold, but it’s not too far off- and since it doesn’t have a handle, there are no other options for how to hold it.I’m on the fence as to whether I like the lid or not. On one hand, the rubber-style approach to squeezing it into place is quite neat, it’s a lot more fuss-free than some lids, and it’s very easy to use. But on the other hand, it doesn’t feel as reassuringly solid as other lids, and again if it’s likely to get jiggled about, on a bumpy journey of some kind, it does feel like there’s a chance it could pop off.I do like the pattern of this mug. I got a black one and the lower stripe and leaf drawings have a nice beige, untreated ceramic colour to them that looks quite sweet. The texture of the lower stripe is stone-like and rougher than the rest, and I end up wondering whether using that texture all the way up the mug might have been a good idea- it might have felt a bit coarse, but it would help with grip.Unfortunately this ends up being neither a great mug for home (too awkward), nor a great mug for travel (too fragile, potentially too unreliable), and doesn’t really do what I was hoping it would do.

Heavy ceramic tumbler with lid.
I do not find this ceramic tumbler to be very practical. It is heavy to hold and carry. For the double walls to be effective at keeping a drink hot they need to be preheated. This is a nuisance step and is not always possible. The lid fits well and helps keep drinks clean.
