This product was easy to install and does an excellent job of keeping my two Ridgebacks from leaning or jumping over the back seat. Also, grates are small enough that it even keeps them from drooling on my back seat. It is pretty sturdy but may not hold up to a dog pawing or chewing at it. I used it for a very long road trip and had zero issues. I did use a couple of zip ties for extra stability and a more secure hold. It is definitely a good buy for the money.

I found the Pawple dog barrier works well to keep my two terriers out of the front seat. They have a bad habit of jumping up in front whenever I leave them alone briefly and - as happens with newer cars with all the various buttons and settings - I come back to find the car set in permanent AWD, the rear window lock now unlocked, AC vents changed. One feature I particularly like is the barrier is set high so it doesn't interfere with the center counsel that, on the Telluride, sticks out past the front seat backs. I use a dog hammock in middle so works out well. Installation seemed straight forward and secure, does not rattle at all.

The way they have you attaching the barrier to the headrest in the instruction is a bit difficult to understand and the barrier wanted to fall back into the rear area. I believe the photo of the barrier when ordering explains by showing the attachment better than the printed instructions. Once installed like the photo it stays put and it's really sturdy for as lightweight as it is. Assembly is super easy and no tools required. I did by myself, however, a third hand would have been helpful, especially when starting the attachment to the first headrest

Was trying to find something where my dog didn't get through. This barrier worked perfectly and fit my Lexus 350 without the extensions. My dogs are contained in the cargo area of the car now. It's good quality and stays put even when they push against it. Thanks for a great product.

I was so tired of my dogs hovering over me while I was driving and getting drool all over my front seats. My Great Pyrenees at times would jump over and get in the passenger seat getting hair and dirty paws on my uncovered seats! This bar keeps them in the back! No more drool or worries about having them get in the front. I paired the bars with DOGUAL net barrier to prevent them for getting in the middle console. It works wonders! I was able to get it put together by myself, it’s challenging but not impossible. I watched YouTube videos and got it installed within 30 mins!

I bought 2 of these since I planned on putting one in both of my vehicles. Unfortunately I found out quickly with the first one I installed in my truck that it wasn’t going to stop my large dog from getting into the front of my truck even with this barrier in place behind my front seat! Biggest reason being there’s two smallest pieces that go on each side of a larger barrier to adjust the length to fit your width of your vehicle. The width of the two smaller pieces is fine, but the height is way too small making it easy for the dog to either climb over the top or get underneath the smaller pieces depending where you mount them?Other issue with these is their only held in place on the back of your seat with straps that go under your head rests. So the whole barrier can move back and forth fairly easily.I ended up taking the other one I bought and took the 2 smaller ends from the second one and added them to the first one I put in my truck. Lowered the original smaller ends as far as I could and then added the second smaller ends to the other barrier above the other smaller ends to make a higher end on both sides of the one barrier I have in my truck. Of course this makes the second barrier I bought useless without the two ends I stoled to use in my truck with the first barrier I did use.So with two barriers you can Mickey Mouse a barrier where it will sort of work for the most part. Least keep your larger dog in the back of your vehicle. But I’m afraid if the dog really tries hard enough and puts its full weight against this barrier the dog may be able to just push the barrier over the top of the seat and get in the front regardless? So far he’s not tried to get in the front that way. Hopefully he won’t? This really only works for dogs that are fairly behaved and don’t mind staying in the back seat by themselves. Unfortunately, I haven’t really found any good barriers to go behind a seat or cargo area yet? Kind of like car seat covers, none really fit perfectly. All seem to have issues that you have to live with if you’re going to use them! Same goes with these barriers sadly!

This was so easy to set up in my small suv and keeps my tank of dog from barreling into the front seats. Would highly recommend.

Easy to install and adjusts to fit most vehicles.

I used this product to keep my 90 lb. dog out of the front seat of my Ford escape. I installed it behind the front seat but it would work equally well installed on the rear seats to keep the dog in the cargo area. This barrier is heavy duty, safe for the dog and for the vehicle. My dog can't go over or under the barrier.

Works great and pretty easy to install. Make sure it’s tight so it doesn’t rattle. Once it’s secure it’s great.

Arrived quickly. Was able to make the adjustment to fit easily.

This gate does exactly what I was expecting. It was very easy to install. Will see if it stands up to time.
