Sulfate-Free Brazilian Natural Shampoo and Conditioner Set

I am shocked by how much I like these products! I am an ethical vegan and try to only buy ethically-sourced products, so these attributes attracted me to this shampoo and conditioner immediately. They are a little pricier than I usually pay for this amount, but my previous products were inexpensive but required using a large amount each time to achieve normal results, so I was interested in finding something that works in small amounts. I have shoulder length, wavy hair that tends to be on the dry side but gets oily at the roots the day after shampooing. Long story short, I love the products. I like long reviews when I’m researching products, so if you like the long story, read on!The first things I noticed about the shampoo were the smell (strong, lemon/citrus smell but not overpowering and doesn’t persist after showering) and how little I needed to clean my hair (only 1-2 pumps which produce a very small amount of shampoo). I have tried using it with and without the conditioner (which has a lighter citrus scent) and have found it’s moisturizing on its own but the conditioner is also very moisturizing but light enough for everyday use.Perhaps the biggest surprise is how manageable my hair is after using the shampoo alone and with the conditioner. Typically, I have to either use a product to de-frizz my waves or straighten my hair with a dryer brush. Using both of these methods with this shampoo and conditioner, I got great results; in both cases, I had good volume without it being dry or frizzy. One day I was too lazy to do anything with my hair and for the first time I can ever remember, I had smooth hair with volume but very little frizz without using any product or drying/straightening. I was also surprised that the day after shampooing my hair was still soft, with volume, but not greasy at all. If you prefer not to shampoo daily, that is definitely possible with this product line.I’m so pleasantly surprised that a company with great ethics produces a product that works better than any others I’ve tried (salon or mass merchandise products). I’m often willing to sacrifice performance to buy products that are produced without harming animals, people, or the environment, but with this product there is no sacrifice and they are well worth the price. They are beautifully packaged and nice enough to give as a gift. I will definitely repurchase this product and look forward to trying others in the line.

It leaves my hair so soft. I’ve buying this shampoo and conditioner for a couple of years now. I really like what it does for my hair.

Like some of the other people who left reviews, I too was left with straw like hair at first. I really hated the way my hair was but since I paid $28 for it and I live the smell I continued to use it. Now I’m in love!! The smell reminds me of my herb garden, and my hair is soft and much less frizzy in this Indiana summer humidity. Don’t give up. Give this a chance. It took about 2 weeks before my hair left the “straw” phase and entered the “love it” phase.

As the headline says, product comes in small bottles and smells like canned ravioli. The only redeeming thing about these products was the pumps on the bottles.It didn't keep my hair as clean as long as I'd hoped (I wash my hair every other day). My hair just didn't have that oomph that it usually does after using these products, either... and I have fine, grey hair at age 41, so I'm not old and asking for a miracle. Oh, and the smell! Believe me when I say the smell, coupled with sweating from a good day of cleaning house, makes you smell like a Italian eatery. No exaggeration. I'm going back to my other biotin shampoo & conditioner. If you have a success story with these products, I'd love to hear it!

I have used this product for several years. By far my favorite

Crap.These bottles leaked all over my shower. Every time I got in the shower I’d have to clean up the shampoo and conditioner that had seeped out of the pumps.The quality of the product seemed decent, the smell was okay. But I only washed my hair a handful of times with it because it was driving me nuts that was constantly cleaning my shower. I wish I never bought it.

I have been using this shampoo & conditioner religiously for over a month now & love it. Cleans my hair nicely & the conditioner leaves it silky soft & smooth. I know some reviews mentioned the shampoo doesn’t clean their hair well or lather, but it is a sulfate free shampoo & therefore won’t lather as much as traditional shampoos. I think it cleans my hair well & doesn’t leave a residue behind, even after constant use. The smell is pleasing as well and has wonderful ingredients. We used to live in Brazil & the 3 main ingredients are rare here in the states & are truly great & beneficial. Açaí, for example is a super antioxidant & had many beneficial health properties for your body, let alone your hair. I love that this is a main ingredient in them. I think I may even purchase this again in the future! It’s not often you can find “mom & pop” type businesses anymore & I think they tend to care about their products and customers more than big businesses.
