This is a really nice set, I especially appreciate the cork lid, very helpful because our gnats just love dive-bombing straight into the coffee pot. The glass feels like borosilicate, not quite as thick as a real Chemex, but not as thin as some other "Chemex-inspired" pour overs I've used before. The metal screen filter is nice but, if you've never tried a real Chemex square paper filter, do yourself a favor and order some of the real ones -- it's the paper filter that gives Chemex its legendary reputation for quality.

This is an interesting item. Some parts feel a bit gimmicky - like the leather wrap (although the leather is actually quite nice to the touch) and the filter "stand" - but the glass and filter are good quality and useful. Good value for the size and functionality. It would also make for a fun gift.

I am a fan of pour-over coffee. The device I have typically used is great for a single, generous mug. But sometimes a guest stops by, or I feel like a second mug. This handsome coffee maker is perfect for making a bit more coffee at once. And I do mean “handsome.” It looks elegant.

The first thing I looked for was if this was made of borosilicate glass. It was, and as expected, it’s beautiful glass! The shape of it is also lovely. It’s not wide enough to get your hand in the bottom part, so you’ll have to use a bottlebrush to clean it. The filter has super-fine mesh and looks like it should last a long time. I like that they included a cork-style lid that one can put in the carafe, and a stand where one can put the filter basket when not in use.The only reason I’m deducting a star is because the leather collar’s straps aren’t quite long enough to loosen the cincher without removing the straps completely. They should have been at least ½” longer. Also, because it’s leather, it can’t be easily washed. Those aren't biggies, though, so I’m very pleased with this coffee maker!

I used it with fine grind coffee so I will try with medium grind coffee to see the difference in taste next time.This is an amazing concept and it gives a luxurious feel to the coffee experience. It also offers an aesthetic pleasing look to my dining room table.It’s easy to wash and maintain. It’s well made and looks durable.I definitely recommend it…

used this for the first time today. Its easy to use, easy to clean and it makes delicious coffee!

This pour over is excellent. Only issue is that the leather holder- the string isn't long enough to be able to take it off when washing.

I am a coffee person, and this is a gorgeous coffee maker. I wanted an option to still have coffee if I didn't have my coffee maker available for one reason or another. This pour over coffee maker is beautiful and modern, but still very easy to use.
