UPDATE:I decided to give this product a 2nd try. The first lighter I purchased arrived in a non working state. The company was easy to deal with during the return and offered me an immediate refund. A few months later I purchased a new one. This lighter works amazing. The double arc is a huge benefit to a quick light. It works way faster than the competitor product Tacklife. I also like the safety features of having a side on/off switch as well as a covered activation switch preventing unintended ignition. The competitor product only has one switch. I also find that the entire package is much nicer presentation then similar products. So given how easy the company is to work with, I would say that this is a no risk option and a superior product.Previous Post:Arrived in a Non Working StateWhen I received this electric lighter I was very excited to try it out. I have used other electric lighters (Tac-Lighter) and I think they are the way of the future. They don't lose their charge over months, light in the wind, and rechargeable. Just an all around great idea. I was excited to try out this new brand because the dual nodes might create a larger and more powerful light surface. This would be a big improvement over other brand that can have difficulty lighting a piece of paper in the campfire. Unfortunately the one I received would charge but would not light. The company provided return and refund promptly without any questions. I would be open to trying this product again in the future after they work out the QA bugs.

This thing works!! I am a Hot air Balloon pilot and I need a striker that is capable of relighting my burner in the wind. I have bought many different lighters and this is the best by far. I will be buying one for any new pilots I train.

I wish the gap were a tad wider so that it would be easier to light a candle wick. As it is, you have to be sure the wick is exactly between the two poles.

Charge this thing up and light away. I love how easy this item is to use. No more messing around with butane stick lighters that always seem to stop working at the most inopportune time. The flexible head makes lighting campfires easier, because you’re able to get underneath the newspaper and kindling.

i only used this lighter a few times over a three month period, and it ended up ceasing to work or take a charge after a while. its quality seems good for a while but with use it degrades fast.

It's a nice idea. I have these style lighters and they work great. So i bought this for grill and fire pit. Well got it charged it and tested it once after that it will not light at all. No matter charging, flipping on/off button and moving safety switch....nothing. returning too bad.

It came broken. The on/off switch was not connected to anything. It will not charge or turn on at all. Everything about this is a defective failure. I recommend getting a different one. Unfortunately I will not be able to return it in the short window they give you. Cheap junk.

Love the idea of this product, however in execution it fails. After just a few uses it stopped working consistently, and now almost never works, even with a fresh charge. Didn’t expect it to fail so quickly. Also, the space between the prongs is so narrow it is difficult to get the wick lined up in order to light it.
