I have a 6 month old Shorkie. Very smart I see. He finds his way under and come through. 1st time I put it up he ran right through it. I think the bottom should've been a hard part to keep them from going under. I even lowered it until I couldn't lower it anymore and he still went under. I can't allow him to wonder around the house as of yet and I am still settling in my home. This may work on bigger dogs.

we bought these to keep the dogs out of the kitchen while cooking. They do not work1) They install with cheap sticky tape hooks. No screws nothing to keep them attached to the wall when the dogs hit the gate.2) The hooks break very easily! Any jumping on the gate while hooked snaps them off the sticky square, after that there is no stopping the beasts from entering.3) There is no support on the bottom or top to keep them from pushing under the gate or over! The Doxies lernde this quickly an just did what doxies do- went under it! Except the youngest- she went over it!They are now laying in my leave home pile-$16 waisted! I will have to get more expensive gates.

I tried to black off a closet so my dog wouldn't chew shoes. The first time he hit it the loops came out. I sewed them and then the stickers came off. Not happy.

Impulse buy that I regret. You’d have to have a very well behaved dog for this to work, and if you had a very well behaved dog you wouldn’t need this.

The day we mounted this, as instructed, our cat attempted to jump over it, got one of his rear paws stuck on the top edge, and ripped the screen down. It isn’t made very sturdy at all.

The hooks do not stick and fell down the first day. I bought some command hooks to hold it up! The gate was very inexpensive and so it was worth it for my purpose for a few months (to keep my baby off he bottom of the stairs until she is a little more stable). I have a much safer option for the top of the stairs!

I don't like that they don't hang the way they are suppose to the sticker part took the paint off my wall

the cloth hook broke not sure if it was because the dogs tried to get through it or if one of the kids pulled on it to hard. I sewed it back on and reinforced the other three hooks as well.
