Terrible Texture
Wow, this bacon was terrible. I like turkey bacon to be crisp when cooked, and different brands often cook best either in the microwave or on the stove. No big deal, whatever works to get the best outcome. Applegate brand is great in a pan, with good texture and taste, whereas cheaper brands like Oscar Mayer or Butterball are not as good, but OK, and crisp well in the micro. Organic Prairie wouldn't cook evenly or crisp properly and had the texture of cheap turkey bacon. I wouldn't eat this product if it were a free sample. Yuck.
