Bodylastics Heavy Duty Foam Covered Handles with solid ABS cores, strong nylon webbing and heavy gauge O-rings

I was fed up with having to chase all around my leisure centre gym for stirrup handles when doing exercises on the cable machines, so I purchased a pair of these handles (the gym ones were always going 'walk-about' and pairs of similar handles were often separated and on different machines !). Based on experience of using the handles I had used previously in my gym, I bought these as the strap hole in the handle 'bells' out at the outer ends. This design minimises the wear that can be caused to the strap if it has to cross over a sharp corner. The description of 'foam covered handles' in the product title could be rather misleading, the handle covering is more like a rubber material. The material is comfortable on the palms of the hands and seems like it will last a long time (conventional 'foam' would likely disintergrate quickly as it woul tend to mop up perspiration). When I purchased the handles I knew from other feed-back that the straps were on the short side. I decided that in use they were too short for my taste (when using two handles on one cable clip) so I purchased some strapping and made longer strap loops, and also got some smaller 'D' rings from my local chandlery as I didn't need the large rings the cables originally had (nothing wrong with the rings, just much larger than my use requires (different colour strapping freely available on Amazon) and have made straps that are 6" longer. Despite my modifications, the price was reasonable enough to make the expenditure worthwhile just to get actual handle component. Overall I think these handles are a good buy.

Every gym I have ever gone to lacks the amount of these handles available! I decided to look for my own to stop my workouts being delayed or interrupted by waiting for these handles.So my current gym has 10+ cable machines and only 1 pair of these handles which is so intensely frustrating it drove me to buy these and I can say I don’t regret it for 1 minute! These handles are great! The build quality is fantastic just like the ones in the gym however have loads more grip and they are only getting worn out by me. The strap and clip make them compatible with every cable machine.Overall I can’t recommend these enough as they have saved me so much time and frustration and for the price a real bargain!

I had to buy a pair of these handles after my (silly) Tier 1 gym decided not to replace the ones that got broken. These ones are fantastic with really high quality strength and grip. Although I was looking at handles with a longer length of nylon webbing, these ones are just great and do the job perfectly. They don't have that itchy nylon material feeling that rubs against your wrists/forearms when you're doing certain exercises like chest flys or cable side raises.Tip: Don't leave them on the gym floor unattended as they'd get picked up and used by someone else and then you'll have to have that odd conversation of "can I have my handles back please".

My gym seems to have a few thieves at the moment so is left with one of the nylon type hand attachments for the cable machine - they have plenty of the metal ones but I find they dig into my forearms when doing cable flyes. Tried these out this morning and very comfortable to use - wide grip so no trouble with fitting my hands in and no rubbing at all. Quite a short distance from the clip to the handle but thats what I prefer anyway (I usually double or triple loop the gym ones) so this is a definate plus point from me. They seem plenty strong enough so would recommend!

Great pair of stirrup handles. The metallic ring piece is thick and welded closed and feels very robust. The plastic handle is equally as thick and feels very strong too - enough to take a firm grip of a very strong hand and heavy weight and the rubber grip is very.......grippy and still has plenty of grip inside a moist palm. Finally the material used to hold the two together is of good quality and it all looks like very good value for money. I honestly wasn't expecting it to be this good at this price. Very pleased with purchase.

Great quality handles to replace the tiny ones that rub the flesh from your hands that come with resistance tubes as standard.Longer handle keeps the webbing away from your hand. Full ABS plastic construction takes away the worry of the webbing cutting into the handle (which happened with my old handles) and ruining them. Good quality fixings mean you're not worried that you'll end up with something snapping and impaling your eyeball mid workout.

Very good product, much better than the ones I had before at a similar price.The edges are rounded so wear on the nylon band is much lower. The nylon band could be a bit longer depending on what exercises they are used for but in exchange the nylon band does not get twisted. Hope the rubber cover will last, but so far (2 months of studio use) it is ok.Overall a clear recommendation.

Make a bit of a funny noise when going heavy, but they're okay!
