I do not wear hats! So when I purchased this little gem for a trip to the U.K. I honestly thought it would be a waste of money but to my amusement I threw it in the suitcase at the very last minute. This hat was perfect and a constant companion while in the U.K. It kept my head warm and dry while facing the chilly winds and rains of Scotland and the many different cities and towns I toured during my month long stay in England. I got complements about the hat from friends and strangers which I kind of disregarded until my husband who is very honest stated he liked it. At that time I knew for sure this was a winner. The cost is cheap but it stood up to every challenge I faced and remained stylish the entire time. More than pleased I purchased it.

Charming, lady-like hat. It's well made and looks like it cost more.HOWEVER, it arrived in a double plastic bag....crushed. This is not a baseball cap, a gardening hat....it is a ladies wool felt hat and should arrive in a BOX.After several attempts at steaming, I think I have it smooth enough as not to look like I was beaned by something.Is it the supplier, or Amazon? Step it up and provide some protection and class for your product.

I cut my hair short and was looking for something stylish to keep my head warm in the winter and not give me “hat hair”. I’d ordered one of the Bellamy hats and when it came it was bent and out of shape. So I put it on another hat to see if it would fall into shape after a few days. It did not. By accident, I’d ordered another one which came in the same packaging but was in perfect shape when I removed it. This is the right hat because it fits loose enough around the brim and has a high enough top not to smash my hair down on top. So when I remove the hat, wall, no hat hair! When I returned the first hat, It was an easy process and the refund was credited to my Amazon account which is fine because I’m a constant Amazon customer.

Fits good. Well made. They could take more care in packing it.

I ordered this hat for my mom for Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hat was! The color was deep and it was constructed nicely. The only criticism is that the hat should be shipped with stuffing inside to help it hold its shape. Bump the price up a couple bucks and add in shaping materials. Great buy!

I got this as a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law.... she LOVES it. She put it on immediately, wore it most of the day (inside and outside), and I recently saw a caricature done of her and my father-in-law done on New Year's Eve and she was wearing it in THAT TOO! Needless to say - it was total hit. I would say, though, this hat won't sit down around your ears like it does in the picture - it's a bit smaller than that. It's more a hat that will sit snug around the top-back of your head. It fit this way for me and my mother-in-law, but I suppose if you have a petite skull (unlike us) it will fit like it does in the picture.

This is as attractive as pictured. It has a very slight stylish slant and the adornment isn't overdone. It blends into the hat yet is still visible. It is classy enough to wear as dress up, but definitely everyday wear (my intention). It will work with a variety of coat styles in spite of distinctive style. I plan to pull it off with everything. It's in black. It fits snugly so is practical in that regard...it stays on my head.

I needed a cloche hat to wear to Downton Abbey themed event. I was worried about finding a hat that would fit properly, so I measured my head and found that this would work nicely. It is also adjustable, so I figured I’d be safe to get it. I was pleased to find that it’s soft, not itchy or hot, and fit me well. As you can see, it was the perfect touch to my Downton villager outfit. A couple of folks like the hat enough to ask where I got it. I recommend this hat…just be sure to measure your head before buying.
