Great book to get boys reading!
Perfect for teaching! And I like keeping track of conflict and I like the extension lessons. Could use some more background information on the Sudan and the civil war going on. And some YouTube links to the Lost Boys. Makes the story better when we know it really happened. And some follow up on the boys who survived and now live in the US.

Although this is a great resource, it can be found online for FREE
Although this is a great resource, it can be found online for FREE. I think it's unfair of you to take advantage of teachers by selling this material when it is available on a couple of websites for free. I bought it thinking it would be a great addition to the resources I already have but was very frustrated when I received it and realized I had it already.

Great questions for comprehension!
My daughter read this book and did the comprehension questions listed in this unit study- they were very well thought out, yet not to difficult for my 14 yr old, 9th grader. She learned alot about the characters and it was really a great addition! Was surprisingly happy with this purchase!

Excellent Novel Unit
This novel unit is an excellent resource. Although I am using it in conjunction with another resource (online) that includes more higher-level questions and discovery activities, this one covers all the bases regarding chapter discussion questions, some research and creative writing activities, and a unit test. I am pleased to have this and recommend it to others.
