It is very useful hood for my 58mm dia. lensesIt came at a very reasonable priceNice & quick deliver by AmazonPlus point : 'Its build quality is good' i thought it will be a thin plastic but its not its more solid i brought it today & i droped but its fine.Easy to put in any 58mm dia lense just screw itMinus point : i couldn't put my lens cap on when it is placed& when you focus it rotates with lens, mostly you don't want thatThat's why i didn't gave it full 5 starRemedy: 'dont tightly put it' it could get hard to remove & adjust in when you do manual focus so lose it a bit & rotate it manually if you want toIn the end IT WORKS PRETTY WELL

First of all don't buy this...Reasons:1. It's not reversible, U can't keep ur lenses in the bag with this hood on it.2. Don't fit perfectly with UV filter fitted on the lenses.3. Lense cap can't be put while the hood is on, this is the biggest back draw of this item.4. In 18-55mm lense you will get little shade in the corner while upto 25-30mm.Apart from that, the built quality is SO SO ok....fits in the lenses.

Low quality yet satisfyingBought it just because it was the cheapest and i wanted to see what a hood was.The logo branding makes the camera look more cheap (trust me)If you just wanna see what a hood is, go for itBut if you are looking for something professional go for the original peices , not the local ones.

fit my eos 600d perfectly. I also have a hood from sigma but it was a little costly so quality difference is there. but for hobby photographers it's good.

Again, this fits both the Canon Lens - 18 - 250 and 250 - 500. Works both with and without the filter lens (I purchased a combo of hood & filter). Good material quality at this price. However, a small case would have been better to manage the hood. Amazon - Timely delivery with good packaging.

Hi, in regards to my earlier not so good feedback about Omax, got a call from Omax, seems they have been emailing me on my registered email ID to send a pic of the defective product and I have missed it as was in my Spam box, MY APOLOGIES. A replacement is already on the way so I can use it on my trip. GREAT SERVICE from Amazon & Omax.

HiThe product quality is good. Though it fits both the lens (18-55 mm and 55-250 mm), unfortunately it works only for the 55-250. for the 18-55mm the edges of the frame get covered by the hood and the picture gets black spots on all the four edges.
