Best Christmas Gift So Far
My Son has been begging me for a guitar for a long time now. I didn't want to invest in a thousand dollar guitar until I knew he was going to use it and wow has he. He comes home every day and practices and the best part, he is a natural. I have thrown a few songs at him and within hours he has it nailed. I am in shock at the talent that comes out of my own kid. This is greatly priced and from what he and his friends have said, plays beautifully. Highly recommend to everyone wanting to see where this hobby will take them.

Piece of cheaply made trash!!!!
Horrible! Don't waste time and money on this garbage. Cheaply made, and overpriced for such a terrible instrument. Spend a little more and get a Yamaha. Totally not worth the extra 40 dollars just for a plastic sack they call a gig bag and a free tuner. Please do not buy this guitar!!!

Very Impressed
I do not know how to play a guitar. Purchased as a gift. The guitar arrived on time and double boxed. It was in perfect shape. Upon opening, I found a fantastic looking guitar. It has all the appearance of a well made instrument. I just cant get over how well it looks and the apparent quality.

Great set for a beginner
I am in my late 30's and completely new to guitar, but I wanted to learn. The tuner is easy to use (Make sure it is set to "G" for guitar), and it sounds/feels great. Again, I have a beginner ear, but the tuner shows I'm in tune and it sounds great when I strum all the strings. I'm of average build and just shy of 6'... this guitar fits me very well. The strings seems like decent quality and appear to "soften" a little as you play. My fingers were very sore the first couple weeks, but now the strings feel easier to press and my fingers no longer have pain. The picks that come with this set are a little firm. I ordered some thinner picks that are much better for use with strumming.

Great way to encourage an interest in music without breaking the bank!
Our daughter loves music and plays a few different instruments but, keeping up with her interests can be expensive. I'm really glad that we found a great starter package to let her explore the guitar without having to run all over to find additional accessories or paying a ton for something we're not sure if she'll stick with or not. So far, the guitar looks great, feels solid, and I'm sure it'll just keep sounding better and better as she practices!

You get what you pay for
This is a picture of the replacement guitar that we received after the first one broke in the exact same way. The neck is warped and the guitars have both been completely unusable. The stand is poor quality, the bags are useless. Even the picks are flimsy. This isn’t a beginner guitar; this is nothing but an over priced prop. Save your money and buy something that your child can actually play.

Hi you cannot hook the strap on? Why do you only have one peg available for the strap?
Hi I enjoyed this product overall although my guitar did come with a few minor scratches and or disfigurations it also lacks a place to anchor the strap on the upper part of the guitar it has no where to place the guitar strap except for the bottom which is very frustrating since they do give you a strap but they wouldn't provide an area with which to put it on. Overall in very good condition I will be reaching out to Amazon to see if they can fix the issue of a non strappable guitar overall fairly good for the price if you want to get the lessons as well

Extreme work needed to make it playable.
Arrived with a severely bowed neck, no allen wrench included for truss rod adjustment. The action was very high, hard to play. Frets are unfinished and sharp as needles. Sand them down or you will shred your thumb. The low E bridge pin popped out on first tuning. Painted neck and body arrived with nicks, blemishes, and scratches. This guitar is worth about 25 dollars. Talk to your guitar teacher or local music store employee before you buy.

Value for money guitar that is capable and gives you all you need to start playing
This has to be the best complete package deal out there. The guitar may not be the best but as a brand new beginner it's perfect for toughening up my fingers, learning cords and how to change strings or anything else, adjusting the nut etc. The thing is, at this price I can learn all this without worrying about damaging my yamaha (if I had one). The neck is straight and when my fingers get used to the strangeness of it all, and toughen up I will be able to play along just as well as I could with any of the more expensive ones. This instrument has started me on my path and I love it.

Excellent value for money and great for beginners, but...
The bag is either misprinted or a fake. As you can see in the photo it says "Matin Smith" instead of "Martin Smith". Also the circular logo isn't correct.Let me be clear, this is amazing value and if you're considering it as a beginner - I highly recommend it. However, on principle I am rating this 1 star as fake/knock-off items are not acceptable.

Excellent value for money. Beautiful item.
Arrived in plenty of time for my daughters birthday. I’ve just opened it to have a peek. Oh it’s LOVELY! Everything that’s needed for a beginner! All packaged well. I actually never thought I’d be so excited for her birthday as I used to be when she was little - now she’s almost 20! But I honestly can’t wait To see her face! I KNOW she’s going to LOVE it! 😍

OK for the price I suppose
Made in China it says on the box, which these days means you can't be sure of the quality - it could be great or it could be poor. For me, this guitar package is somewhere in the middle. The stand, strap and tuner are poor. The stand doesn't reliably support the guitar - it's a poor design - especially when you attach a strap to the guitar. The supplied strap is complete rubbish - bin it and get a better one. The tuner is OK, but the one I have won't let me check the guitar intonation - I have other clip-on tuners that do allow me to pluck the strings at the 12th fret to see how far out things are. The guitar itself is a mixed bag. It feels solid enough, but it doesn't sound that great with the pre-fitted strings. It lacks timbre. I changed the strings to a set of Adagio Phosphor Bronze 12's and I think it sounds a bit better, but not massively better. It still sounds a bit thin to me. Laminated topboard, I guess. The frets are reasonably well fitted and finished. The string action is OK, though I do get a bit of buzzing sometimes. The intonation is out a bit - I expected that and I guess it's not too bad - but I've not been able to fix it (though I'm no luthier.) The tuning pegs are OK. I'm not sure whether the truss rod does much when you adjust it. There is a small cosmetic imperfection on the topboard - a smudge of the black paint from the side found it's way onto the pine-coloured topboard prior to the veneer finish going on. It's noticable and somewhat spoils the look of the guitar. The factory that made the guitar needs better quality control. If the guitar had my name on it, I wouldn't be happy with it shipping with this type of cosmetic fault on the topboard. It's sloppy and it doesn't make me think positively about the brand. Overall I suppose it's OK, given the price.
