Excellent
This is an excellent small phone. Very useful for emergency calls and an alarm clock. It has a torch, which is a bonus, and at the price it simply can't be faulted. The buttons a slightly bigger than in other older-type phones, but there is no depression in the middle "5", for ease of touch-dialling, nor is there a dedicated emergency call button. For this reason, I would say it has limited use for people with limited eyesight or a diminished sense of touch in the fingertips.Given that I use it mostly as an alarm clock, the battery life is good, though not exceptional.

Good for elderly relatives
Phone has some good features especially the panic button on the back. Menus easy to navigate. Just be sure to use right card slot for sim card as there are 2 of them. One for 2g & one for 3g. Works fine with my Smarty Sim.

Low price but poorly designed
I chose this because I wanted the cheapest (non-smart) phone I could find with a low SAR (radiation exposure). Box ticked. However note the following shortcomings, ordered by most disappointing (to me):* No vibration feature. Not only should this come standard in any phone but I would certainly expect to see this in a model designed with seniors in mind!* The recessed USB charging port on the bottom of the phone doesn't allow the cable to be securely connected. It just about works for me but I'm concerned it won't hold up forever and I can see other users have found this to be a problem.* No predictive text. Another basic feature lacking.* I've found the menu system to be cumbersome in places (e.g. simply switching between typing lower and uppercase characters).* No mains charger included, only the USB cable - will be an added expense for some.* The "mp3 player" is a gimmick since there's no earphone jack. For these reasons I can't generally recommend this phone. If it weren't for the price (and the low SAR in my case) I'd give it 2 stars max because the only explanation for the above is poor product design, these fixes are very basic and wouldn't cost the earth.

Good value
My son is blind and has recently had kidney failure, so has to go for dialysis 3 times a week for 4 hours at a time. The ambulance service seems pretty poor and he's been left stranded for long periods so we thought it might be a good idea for him to have a phone so he could call us if he needed picking up.RNIB want £2-300 for a talking phone, this £18 job is brilliant, I have sorted the speed dial/SOS and it will speak the numbers as well, fantastic value for money.

Incredible price
Very light and at this price, a superb buy for keeping inthe car as an emergency phone. Being unlocked, it also means I can put the SIM from my car tracker in and check the remaining balance too. A real bonus as I use O2 SIMS because they don't demand a monthly payment. Just load it with some credit and leave it. There is one tiny little problemette though, I can't find out how to set a start up PIN number. The instructions refere to it being possible but don't say how and no amount of button pushing in menus will allow it. Nothing on the web either.

Nice little phone
Bought to replace my fathers old phone, only down side 12 ring tones and not one normal ringing tone on it all tunes, you can put a memory card in it and record a tone yourself so I’m going to try that, volume is ok very light it’s really easy to use

Great cheap, little phone.
This is a basic phone, which is why I bought it, a spare phone, for my son to take to school, leave the iPhone at home, any of us to take out and about, it's ring is loud, really simple to use, I had no problem getting a sim card Giff gaff, ordered on line, popped it in, registered the sim and put a £10 on pay as you go. I'm not a phone expert had a few over the years but managed to put it all together in minutes.
