Good book. Nice hardcover and pages.

Some books change you. You don't remain the same after reading them. This book is one of those, like Morrison & Boyd, Irodov, Thomas & Finney, Kernighan & Ritchie, and many other classics I may have missed to mention here.The book requires a patient reading from the reader. If you get stuck, go and read up on the theory, come back and read the part again, you'd find it enlightening. The book will build your understanding of how to tread path of AI / ML. It imparts the thinking needed.The math in chapter 2 might seem mind boggling, and it took me about a month to complete it, but after it was done, I realised where did I lack in statistics, and what is the correct mindset of ML researchers.If you find the information too dense to travel, I'd recommend to read Tom Mitchell's Machine Learning. That book is pure experience speaking to you, and would help you bridge the gap.

I was searching for this book for a long time. The problem was I was getting a very high price. But that particular seller was selling it almost at half of the price.The paper quality and packaging was superb. I would recommend anyone who are wanting to buy it to buy from this seller only.Regarding the book I don't think it requires any introduction. Anyone who is wanting to learn statistical learning and wanting to learn how various models of machine learning really works should go through this book.Ps- the seller name is "choice is yours"

Content of the book is superior to all the flaws I get with the price point of 950/- binding is poor.. Page quality and printing is ok and.. Though packing was pretty good in bubble wrapping, the books corners are damaged. At least got color print in the price range of 950/-To be honestly not totally satisfied but still as the seller is not giving replacement I am not going for refund

Awesome and original book

The book was delivered in the best of its condition. Everything is just wonder ful. I got this for 1290.

Have read chapter 5 through 9 (about 200 pages) till now. Excellent read, although the print is back and white on ordinary paper.

Except for some sullen edges, this book is a great buy. Pages are a bit glossy, slight thin enough to see other side of the print, but that doesn't matter to me. Diagrams are colored and binding is great.
