Price, composition, brand
I’ve been using the La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5 for a few months now, and it’s become a holy grail in my skincare routine. I have dry, sensitive skin that often reacts to weather changes or active ingredients, and this balm instantly soothes and repairs any irritation or redness. The texture is rich but not greasy. It absorbs nicely without leaving a heavy film, and it works great under makeup too. I mostly use it at night as the last step in my routine, especially after using acids or retinol. In the morning, my skin feels soft, calm, and hydrated. What I love most is that it contains vitamin B5, madecassoside, and shea butter – all powerful ingredients for healing and restoring the skin barrier. It’s also fragrance-free and safe even for babies, which speaks volumes about how gentle it is.

Very good value, compares well to more lux skincare products
This product compares well to more expensive skincare. It was recommended to me after laser treatment on my face and chest and worked very well for soothing, healing and hydrating my skin. I also put it over other more expensive products to seal them in and make the most of them (i.e. slugging). It is quite thick when you apply it, but it smooths out easily and lasts a long time. It is not sticky but does leave a nice sheen on your skin. The only downside I have seen is that if you have a darker complexion, it might leave a bit of a white cast. In my case, it smoothes out my light skin and, surprisingly, evens out my complexion. I love it and have already repurchased it and also bought its "sister" product with the SPF.

smooth hydrated skin.. removed all my redness
La Roche-Posay B5 Balm is a lifesaver for my dry and irritated skin. From the first use, I noticed how well it soothed redness and helped repair my skin barrier. The balm has a rich, creamy texture that feels nourishing without being greasy or heavy. It absorbs nicely and keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day, even in harsh weather. I especially love using it on dry patches, chapped lips, and even minor cuts or scrapes. It’s gentle enough for sensitive skin and doesn’t cause any breakouts or irritation. What really stands out is the combination of vitamin B5 and madecassoside which work together to calm and heal the skin. This balm has become my go-to product for recovery and daily moisture. If you want a reliable, soothing balm that delivers lasting hydration, La Roche-Posay B5 Balm is definitely worth trying.

A staple in my skin care
This is a staple in my skincare. I have used various skincare serums including tretinoin that have caused peeling, redness, and dry, flaky patches. This lotion rescues my skin every time. It is very hydrating and removes redness. It doesn't really have a scent. It is a medium thickness, not too sticky or thick for day wear, but not watery either. Any time I have any kind of peel, resurfacing etc, this product speeds up my healing process. I don't use it as my daily moisturizer though so I'm not sure how it would work on a daily basis.

A skincare essential
I’ve been using La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5 for a few months now, and it’s honestly become a staple in my skincare routine. It’s incredibly soothing and helps calm any irritation almost immediately. Whether it’s dryness, redness, or minor blemishes, this balm really speeds up the healing process without feeling heavy or greasy. What I love most is how versatile it is — I use it on dry patches, after treatments like retinol, and even occasionally on my hands when they’re feeling extra sensitive. The texture is rich but absorbs surprisingly well, leaving a comfortable, protective layer. Plus, it never clogs my pores or causes breakouts, which is a huge win for my sensitive skin.Overall, Cicaplast Balm B5 really lives up to its reputation. It feels like a true “rescue” product, and I always make sure I have a tube on hand. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable, gentle, and effective skin soother!

Best product ever!
It has amazing moisturizing power, which really helps the skin recover. If you have a burn on your skin, just apply this right away—it makes a huge difference. It soothes the area, helps reduce discomfort, and speeds up healing. I highly recommend it!

The best on the market
Listen.....This is my favorite moisturizer of all time ever. The way ive spent THOUSANDS on other moisturizers just to end back up using this one instead lol. It's SUPER thick but will create an occlusive layer on your skin overnight to protect & nourish. I use a lot of intense active ingredients (tret, acids, etc.) and my skin will get super sensitive often, so i need something that wont sting on my super sensitive days. This is it. I'll put on a THICK layer every night & wake up with the smoothest, plumpest skin of my life. The consistency is a thick, white cream thats thick like vaseline, but not a gross sticky feel. You can pile it on at night like i do? or use a pea size amount for a lighter application. I like to pile it on overnight tho. All in all: If you use harsh actives or have sensitive skin & noticed that moisturizers for "sensitive skin" still burn or cause redness...... try this one. it changed my life i swear lol. :)

This Saved My Skin Barrier
This cream completely changed my skincare game. My skin was over-exfoliated and irritated, and nothing was working — until I tried this. It’s rich but not greasy, instantly soothing, and within two nights, my redness and flaking were gone. I now use it 2–3 times a week as a recovery step, and it locks in hydration beautifully. If your skin barrier is damaged, sensitive, or reactive, don’t think twice. This deserves a permanent spot in your routine.
