I love turtles and box chains! This isn't expensive and I had no high hopes it would last long! I was right. After a week the chain turned black, I tried silver cleaner, it won't clean up its still black. Tried again to clean soaked it overnight, no difference. The turtle has lost most of it's silver and looks like copper underneath! So I threw it away. Sadly. I don't recommend this necklace. I'm sorry.

The necklace was very cute and a good value for its price, although the turtle shell color looked a bit like it was a glitter glue of sorts, seemed very durable and has lasted through 10 days of wearing so far, very pretty and overall a good product, great gift for younger ladies.

I ordered the sea turtle necklace for my 13 yr old niece to accompany a top and earrings I got for her birthday. The necklace is much prettier in person than I expected, is lightweight and sparkles. The chain accompanying the pendant is also good quality with the lobster claw clasp. The resin inside the turtle shell is an iridescent glittered, turquoise blue. From a distance it could pass as a blue mother of pearl. Overall, I am very pleased with the product.

My photo does not reflect the color very well. My rating is due to the very slow ship it took over a month. However the price is good and it did eventually arrive. The gift boxing they show was not included. It arrived in a small plastic ship envelope. Also the turtle is small. This necklace would be perfect as a child’s gift.
