I love this shade! I have a low profile camping chair that fits perfectly under it. There’s a tag on the shade that you can clip items to, I found it to be great for my JBL clip. If you expect total shade, this is not the product for you. But if you’re okay with your legs getting some extra sun, this is excellent.

The small size is great for pets, or to put your stuff under when you're at the beach. However, for the price, you might as well invest in a larger Sun Ninja. I felt silly trying to huddle under the cover.

The idea of this product is great. The set up easy and it’s super compact to carry. But it is really only good for a dog maybe. It definitely only fits one person. I am a petite woman and there is no way another person could fit with me. Also even tho i am just over 5 feet I can’t sit up under it. When I bought it there was a picture with two people sitting up and it must have been photo shopped. You can only lie down under it and it only covers like maybe your head and chest. I don’t know why they didn’t make the poles taller so you can sit up. Returning this.

We have a few beaches that we frequent during the summer - one is an all day, pack up the entire car kind of trip - while the other is a quick visit for a swim trip. I hate bringing our huge beach tents out for the short trips, it's too much of a hassle. But I hated that the kids didn't have much shade when they wanted to come in from the water for a drink. This was the solution to my problem. It goes up quickly and takes up very little space, but a perfect size for my kids to lay down for a little rest before they are up and running again. Love the color, made very well and easy to transport.

I'm sorry to say I found this early entirely useless. I could see it working for camping, but in trying to set it up on a Carolina beach, impossible. The wind didn't need to even be moderate to undo the whole thing. Though this could be simple user error, two other couples on the beach *also* thought so and tried to help us, I assume with us looking frustrated and pathetic, and ultimately both decided no, we were not the problem. Maybe with an extra stake in the middle? The instructions being printed on the bag and barely if that didn't help. It's a miss from me.

We don't live at the beach (bummer) but got this for when we go. The quality of the components of this is very good and it is easy to set up and break down. I think it will work better on sand than any other surface, but either way, it appears sturdy and should be fine. In fact, it might actually work better with two poles than with four.The fabric is super soft and the components are heavy duty.
