Just The Facts
This oil is for 4 stroke motorcycles. Why it isn't stated as being so is puzzling. Looking up its data sheet on the Lucas site I found that the base oil isn't what most people call truly synthetic. It is CAS 64742-54-7 which is a very good mineral oil but not truly synthetic. Its flash point is 14% less than true synthetics. The higher the flash point, the more likely the oil will stay on the upper cylinder and not evaporate off.
