Certainly does the job!
I'm impressed with how strong and robust that these are after setting up both the plunger and twist parts. It takes me a while on how to research something and figure out how to use it, so I had to repeatedly watch a handy video guide on YouTube that showed me which way to screw the rod parts on. You screw them on clockwise until tight and only twist clockwise when they're down in the gunk! Yuck. They're superb quality tools for such a reasonable price too.

Got me out of the ...
They are not the greatest rods in the world, but they are also not the most expensive either. Make sure you only turn the rods clockwise and you tighten the rods with some grips so they don't come undone in your drains and you _should_ be good. Just to note, these are for wider outdoor drains, not for indoor piping, .Brought these because I was told that you shouldn't turn rods that aren't yours (as you don't know how they have been stored or how they have been used, and you don't want them breaking in your drains) and they did the job just fine. I would prob consider these a "single use tool" because I'm not sure how well the rivets will hold up in years to come. But when new, they should be able to get you out of the.....Docked a star because the "carry case" broke when putting the poles back in it after use. Best using some Velcro strips or zip ties to store them after use.

Worked fine, no issues.
Does exactly what we needed these for, to unblock our blocked drains in the back garden at short noticed. United Utilities quoted us £200+, these were next to nothing compared to that.It took me about an hour to unblock 2 drains but they worked well. Others may have commented on the quality and how they might break etc. But I did my how to use properly research well before hand and had no issues using these. You do of cause have to remember to rotate clockwise when down the drains or you will risk likely accidentally un screwing the attachments down the drains.

Not suitable for house-internal blockages
Not suitable for house-internal blockages - way too big, including attachments, and inflexible. Cheap metal too - beware of bits flaking/breaking off.

Simple, cheap, effective!
Drain-rods are NEVER fun to use! As always, it was in an 'emergency' that I bought these... hoping that I would only need to use them once! However, my problem was persistent. It turned out to be a collapsed pipe, which had to be dug out and replaced. What that meant was that these rods got repeated heavy use, by myself and others, in attempting to solve a really difficult blockage. They survived, did all that a drain rod can, and never let me down. I think that was a thorough test, and I am keeping them safe in case the same kind of problem happens again.Cheap, simple, effective - that's all you need!

Buyer beware
Buyer beware. They will charge you for a return, even though their rods are NOT a British Standard thread, which means they would connect with existing rods. Very disappointing that the tread is some random thread but they charge for them to be returned. One very unhappy customer

Got me out of the s#!t
Worked for me with a properly blocked waste water pipe. Builds decent pressure and very flexible. Claw tool worked well for breaking down the blockage. Far cheaper than getting dynarod out.
