Simple and lightweight
I bought this for my father who struggles walking more than 30 or 40 metres as we were going on a cruise. So I was looking for a lightweight, compact and simple to collapse and expand. This really didn't disappoint. No set up required and can be opened up or closed in a matter of seconds. Lightweight at around the 10kg mark and surprisingly robust. The seat although unpadded is pretty comfortable, so I would suggest not bothering with an additional seat pad until you have tried it.The only downside is that this may not be brilliant for rough or uneven surfaces due to the small rigid wheels, but I think this us a trade off for the light weight and compact folded dimensions. Recommended.

Fabulous piece of kit
We bought this to take on holiday for my elderly mum, she’s not as sprightly as she was and we wanted her to keep up with her great grandchild. Very easy to open up and easy to manoeuvre (except for going up pavements). Good quality and it survived both mum and 5 year old using it. Fits nicely in car boot in its own bag. Excellent wheelchair for occasional use.

Practical and light
I needed to get a wheelchair quickly for my husband whose health and mobility suddenly worsened over night. Getting a lightweight chair was important as I am quite small and none too strong. Even the physiotherapist at the hospital where my husband was finally admitted asked for us to keep the wheelchair on the ward as they thought it very practical. It folds quickly and neatly and stays in the car for visits to the hospital and the GP.The only downside was that the armrests came apart but Amazon was quick to replace the wheelchair without fuss and I put on some extra padding to keep the wheelchair smart. Brakes can be tricky to use as well but you quickly get the knack. Finally, if you need a more robust wheelchair for everyday use or for someone slightly less mobile or heavier, this is not the right choice but it was just right for us.

Easily foldable, but needs to be more sturdy.
The front wheel started wobbling in a couple of days - which compelled me to return this item. Otherwise, it was a good wheelchair; lightweight, easily foldable, and assembling was simple too. Maybe, it was faulty when I received it.I suggest to look for rear wheel that is slightly bigger. The same wheel sizes makes it difficult to push especially when a heavy person is sitting.

Pleasantly surprised, considering the reasonable price!
I researched long & hard before purchasing, carefully noting helpful customer reviews. I am aware that this is not the most robust model but consider this an acceptable compromise in my personal circumstances. The price was a bargain and it does exactly 'what it said on the tin'. I was pleasantly surprised by its response to the bumps and camber of the pavement outside my home, however I realise that this requires careful control from a STRONG carer. I would not recommend this product on uneven surfaces, for someone who must rely on a less physically able carer. However, for smoother flat surfaces it could be handled my most. I do not recommend attempting even a tiny step of 1-2 inches without caution. A very slight tilt of the chair to lift the front wheels accomplished this. It cannot be tilted like other chairs to negotiate kerbs. However, my strong carer got around this problem with a modest, sloping kerb by pulling the chair slowly up over it in reverse, without detriment. I advise all to approach such techniques with great care. My carer was particularly pleased with the wheelie bag, and noted that if you arrange the wheels carefully before packing, effectively compressing the chair until one set of wheels slots inside the other set, it slips in much easier. For occasional or even lightweight regular use, with the need for wheelie bag storage allowing easy transfer into limited/no boot-space vehicles such as taxi's, look no further. My only concern is for wheel replacement, as I think they will wear down with necessary (for me) rough pavement use. Fragility in health/condition may mean that surface-related vibration is troublesome/tiring for some, including myself, but this is true of many more expensive chairs, and I intend to add a moderate cushion when necessary. These latter comments do not detract from my overall opinion that.. for the money, and the flexibility of lightweight portable storage, for those with moderate mobility concerns, this is a brilliant product! And the amazon/Betterlife delivery service for this product was faultless.

So perfect
This wheelchair folds down so small it’s great, I struggle to get my mums normal wheelchair in my car but this one just folds into its own bag and straight into my boot ( Kia picanto) and that’s a tiny boot. It’s great for shopping or a trip away or as an occasional wheelchair. It’s very well made and the seat is of very high quality material, definitely worth buying

Excellent purchase
The mother-in-law (MIL), having recently broken her leg rather badly, is currently staying with us. She was discharged from hospital with crutches and a zimmer frame but whilst she can get around ok in the house and the immediate surrounds it is laborious and exhausting for her over longer distances - and to be honest she has the the balance of a squiffy giraffe. We pretty quickly realised that we were going to need something a bit more practical for trips to the shops etc, hence the purchase. We are really pleased with it. It was really easy to set it up and fold it down and worked perfectly around the shops today. It's a little difficult to get it up and down slight curbs and a bit tricky over uneven ground but for what we need it for it's excellent. The MIL says that it is perfectly comfortable to sit in + as you can't self propel it I can always threaten to 'park her up' somewhere with the brakes on if she misbehaves ;-)PS - it came very quickly, we ordered it on the Sunday and it arrived on the Wednesday, great service.
